"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. It's become a bit of on an ongoing joke really. The Probable Lineups appear to be proposed by the teams themselves and are never a reflection of what the teams actually lineup. As Carver implied at the begining of the season - the less accurate information you give to your opponent the less time they have to prepare and adjust when they announce the starting real 11 just before the game.

Of course, now that I have written this - this will be the one time that the lineups reflect the truth

If the Cogeco DVR is anything like the Rogers one, all you do is set the DVR to tape the 6pm game and then just adjust the start and finish times on the second screen (where you choose how long to keep the recording for) to what you need.

    Shouldn't be any issues.

    Seconded!

I always add times to the CBC & SportsNet broadcasts on the PVR as they end at 6pm (for a 4pm start) and sometimes 6pm cuts off added time or the post game stuff...

We break down what Toronto needs to do to win versus the Red Bulls Saturday, discuss the latest TFC controversy with Robbo and Cummins and state why Brian Edwards deserves to start all through the playoffs.

We also get into the Chicago Fire v Chivas game from last night and what it means for the MLS playoff implications.

    Starting line-ups?
    3-4-3
    -----White----Gerba----Barrett-----
    ---------------DeRo----------------
    ----Brennan---------------Cronin
    ---------------JDG
    ---Attakora---Gomez---Serioux
    --------------Edwards

Subs: Vitti for Gerba around 65th, Sanyang for Barrett around 75th (if we're leading by 2, or Barrett gets cramps)

Eek, three man backline with no wide support? No thanks. 5-3-2, maybe, or 5-4-1. But 3-4-3 will get us in big trouble.

And no coach would preplan his subs to the minute. It defeats the purpose of having them.

Why do I think it will be Cunny that will stick the dagger into TFC's (and mine) heart?

That's more or less what we played last game, no? Don't know why we'd drop Guevara though - did i miss something?

Even if Cunny does manage it, Colorado losing also gets us in, amongst other options.

Holy smokes - they're expecting an inch and a half of rain, and thunderstorms, in NYC tonight.

If a hundred people from Toronto show up, they might outnumber the locals

It's the same thing. East Rutherford is 5 miles from Manhattan.

Also I just noticed that the Yankee playoff game is on tonight (although of course they may get rained out).

You couldn't pay people to attend tonight's NYRB game (unless of course you're one of us)

Damn, Tuesday- Thursday it was wonderful sunny weather everywhere in New Jersey, and got cloudy from Friday noon.
The law of Murpy working again, as usual...

Almost for sure the game will be in total shit weather. This is again bad for us, because we are technically a lot better squad that the shite bulls, and in rainy, slippery field that won't matter almost at all any more...

    Wow

I just finished my manager mode season and beat Red Bulls 2-0 as the final game.

De Rosario x2 for the goals...

    I think we got this
