    It is for this reason that I barely pay attention to the MLS site unless I am looking to track trades or see the rosters. Honestly, the journaism is so homerish you are better off reading one of the newspapers to get a more balanced article.

    i think it's a north america thing. we can't seem to call spades spades here.
    the nfl goes about its business trying to pretend the gambling part of it doesn't exist. in europe, it is what it is. so much so that gambling sites are even featured as on-shirt sponsors of many soccer teams.
