Great game. So happy we won. Just got back to Ottawa. Special thanks to Fuad Ibrahim for his shirt, De Ro for the hatrick, Guevara for the Brace and Barrett for his clutch goal.

This was my first ever live TFC game and it is one to remember, let me tell you.

^^ Great stuff. I just got back as well from Montreal and it was truly amazing. When Barrett scored the goal it was if I blacked out with joy. Everyone was falling over the wet seats and just hugging anyone in sight. Long live TFC!!!

I just got back from the bar. Apparently, our hotel is right in the heart of the pub district though we've only run into a few other TFC supporters. The ride back from Stade Saputo on the Metro was insane. I hope to fuck someone posts a vid on youtube. I'm still trying to get a grip on the day's events.

My two buddies and I got into Montreal late so I think we missed out on the early festivities. We did meet up with Pekduck and his pals and I gotta give them all props for putting up with us and being our guides for the day. One line I'll always remember: "If all else fails, just follow the Asians". XD We did hit up McLeans and travelled enmasse thru the subway, and it was an experience I'll never forget.

Obviously, I'm drunk as I type this, but with good reason. We just kicked the shit outta Montreal in their home town. We didn't just win the trophy, we fucking destroyed the poor bastards as we did it. Frei had a great night, though our D had a good hand in that. In any case, if we were voting for player of the year tomorrow the guy would get my vote. 6-1. I still can't believe it, really.

The haters can all go fuck themselves. We decimated Montreal and made it look easy. Toronto FC are the Champions of Canada and that's all that matters.

    haha.
that car should be written off because all our jumping pretty much broke it down. it's not safe anymore!

there were couple of Impact supporters in the same train. they took our chanting with good grace though.

In the hotel in Montreal now, what a night... I am still in shock even though I thought they would do it all along there was still a part of me thinking it was going to be VERY TOUGH.

Some of the best moments of the night:

The train ride to the stadium everyone jumping so much that the train was bouncing up and down as we went through every station. I think one of the chants had something to do with trying to derail the train.

The game itself was INSANE. Everyone that came out was signing loud and proud all game, even after Montreal scored off the bat to get ahead. It was good to see everyone behind the team. DERO YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

After the game the whole team came over to our section several times to support the fans that made the trip. Most players threw their jerseys into the stands and some lucky people got one.

All in all it was an INSANE night and will probably go down in history as one of the greatest TFC matches EVER. So glad I made the trip!

The only bad thing was one guy got jumped by a bunch of Montreal fans after the game and had his scarf stolen. Fortunately he wasn't hurt, but it was pretty much him and maybe 2 other guys against over 20. Fucking pathetic idiots! These are the same fools that throw a smoke bomb in front of their own goalie near the end of the game.

Anyway, I am SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW (other than the casino losses that were just incurred)! CONGRATS TFC and I hope all the people that doubted they could do it feel like idiots now!

I know what that's like ... I experienced the same thing in the pregame ride to Canada vs. Hondurus. One of the best games I've been too ... even though we lost 2-1

Yea, it was AMAZING.... just think the same thing, but with a slaughtering win + a nice trophy at the end that nobody thought they could do it and you have tonight... words can't describe it.

Yea definitely... I got there just after it happened but my friend and I hung back with the guys just in case anything else happened. They were waiting for the Toronto fans to slowly filter out of the stadium and decided to pick on a small group. Pathetic. I don't know if they were bitter that they got their asses HANDED to them, or that we had more fans in our supporter section then they had in their home stadium.

I'm still unable to go to bed, almost 6 hours after the game has ended, I'm just that psyched.

I have this vid of the players coming to celebrate with the fans after they got the trophy.
It is pretty nice. Even if I was too excited to keep the bloody camera focused

TFC's big victory is on the cover page of today's Toronto Sun sports section while the actual story is on page 10.

TFC has done what the Leafs have been incapable of doing for the past 45 or so years - win a cup.

The more reason....not only toronto but all teams on this side of the pond need real grass!...

Few of those long balls to the wing last night would of bounced 10 rows up in 112 if this game was played on the plastic at BMO field!.....rather everyone of them slowed down perfectly and created oportunities for scoring chances.....it just looked like a real football game out there!

    Im still shaking!
