Always found it funny we hired Manning as he was skipping out on having to rebuild RSL, now we're seeing why
I find it hard to believe TFC will try very hard to keep Seba now that they know the amount of money ATL got for Almiron. I imagine the executives at MLSE will want to replicate that bit of business and follow that model going forward

I feel this thread about has now officially hit a brick wall due to lack of transfers/rumours.
Well, at least TCII led the Reds to 3-1 win over UCI.
Interestingly, looking at the EXIF info for the image of Giovinco accompanying the article, its one of mine they have cropped (badly) and used without permission or proper accreditation and lifted straight off my Flickr page or the gallery on ViewFromTheSouthStands.com - photo was taken on 13th May 2015 in the Voyageurs Cup game Vs Montreal. Based on that - zero credibility for this site.

When the highlight of the preseason is figuring out a copyright infringement by a rumour site......
nahh, not worth it. As a fan in the stands, with no press accreditation, my photos are deemed for personal use only and the copyright I set is for non-commercial use and attribution only. My own website and Flickr have them displayed for free viewing by all but if used they should be attributed. Only place they were used commercially was in Joshua Kloke's recent book and that was with mine and TFC's permission.
Anyway - back to topic ... and hopefully some legit sources of info.
As a fan in the stands - unless you have accredited media status, which I do not - you can take pictures for personal use only and cannot sell them or use them commercially. This allows you to display them on a personal website, social media or make them available to non-commercial sites (like Wikipedia or a fan site). Because Joshua asked to use them in his book, and he is selling the book commercially, he had to ask them if it was ok. I took the photos, but as with other sports, the content of the photos and therefore images from the game including the action are subject to club and league copyright. I do it for my own enjoyment anyway so its no big deal.
Happy to discuss this in a different thread if there are more questions but don't want to drag this one off topic too much.
Strange tweet activity, I looked at the Saudi’s club twitter account, and found nothing relating to Seba....but this was tweeted by an official, of some sort........
OFFICIAL: #SaudiArabia's @Alhilal_FC announce the departure of coach Jorge Jesus by mutual agreement & the appointment of former Al Ain boss Zoran Mamic. Club is also expected to complete the signing of former Italy international Sebastian Giovinco in the next few hours.
Sebastian Giovinco is leaving TFC. #BellLetsTalk
As @TheAthletic first reported, D.C. United did receive an offer from a Saudi club for @LuchoAcosta94. But it was first-place Al-Hilal and it was for $7.5 million. It's not going to happen. Transfer window overseas remains open. #dcu #mls
Should be more than that I would think.
After this is all over.
[QUOTE=reggie;1885929]and tfc got nothing for him..manning should be fired[/QUOTE
This makes me sick. I don’t care if TFC signs Messi, for me, Seba Giovinco was the reason I got excited about soccer again.
