As long as we don't get screwed by the referee we will win.
As long as we don't get screwed by the referee we will win.
Getting screwed by a ref who's done a World Cup Semi final would be strange indeed.
We need smart possession tonight. No parking the bus but we can't be reckless with attacking either.
i can see CA going balls out dirty knowing our 3 DPs are on yellows
I re-watched the first leg today to get primed. Didn't see it on TV previously since I was at the stadium on game day. Gave a good perspective on how good our passing was...most of the time. It looked really good. If we can cut out most of those bad passes in our third of the field it will go a long way to limiting their chances. Most of their chances came off those bad passes. Hopefully a better quality pitch is going to help that tonight. I can't concentrate at work. Is it game time yet?
I watched it from my PVR but if you have access to a VPN you can pretend you are in the US and watch the go90.com saved game I believe. When I connected to it last week to watch the NYRB game I am pretty sure there were archived games there from the CCL.
Also, I have Bell Fibe at home and there is a RDS version in their On Demand section so you can watch the French broadcast if you have access to that. Not sure why the English one is not there.

The Uzbek exchange ref is still learning how to Concacaf teams, the players are going to be confused.
How easy has it been to find streams for previous matches? Kick off is 3am where I live but I am thinking of getting up early to watch.
Does anyone have an injury update on the squad?
The Liverpool-City match isn't making my nerves any better....
So undoubtedly Lazer pointers will be all over bonos eyes all game. I'm sure concacaf will do nothing about it again.
I'm so nervous I can't work well.
Screw it, I'm going home...
I think Vazquez plays tonight. Just a sixth sense about how they have been handling this.
He has unfinished business at the Azteca.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Good
- Non CONCACAF ref who likely wont put up with pantomime bullshit from Club America
- They played on the weekend and picked up a key injury - we didn't
- Scoring a single goal away (not outside the realm of possibility) makes it very tough for America to go through
- Club America Azteca is not the El Tri Azteca
Bad
- The Azetca is still a VERY imposing place to play
- Altitude/pollution
- America are still a great team
- History
I'm thinking the good and bad kind of balance each each side of the ledger out.
Whatever happens I think that the Reds showing so well in this tournament this year considering they have had far and away the toughest task of any of the 16 competing clubs ahead of them when the tournament started speaks to the quality of the club both on and off the field. If this journey ends tonight, or goes on to the final next week we all should be very proud of our club to do what they have already done.
Hope they play hard, leave their lungs on the field and somehow find a way to have the good outweigh the bad.
I have a feeling TFC will make history tonight.
They will put the bogie man to rest, and pave the way for other MLS teams to compete with the Mexican teams.
