"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
has "Bacardi" always been by TFC logo on their website ... everyone has their shirt sponsor in that location on other MLS team pages except SJE which are sponsorless.

Magners.
Woodys? It's about time TFC showed the world their hard dick.
barcardi is still up there on the TFC website, where everyone else puts their shirt sponsor
No.

It was like that all season. They sponsor a lot of our content. We have a significantly wider range of advertisers than most of the league. I assume BMO has the rights to shirt and stadium (for now) and a few small things on the side. A bunch of sponsors, namely Budweiser and Bacardi, have their name's on a lot of our other content.
All I'm saying is I wouldn't put a lot of stock in it.

So, we are only 40 days from the season opener, and no word on a new sponsor yet? Last images I saw of the field still have "BMO Field" over gate 1.
There's gotta be SOME news!? Anyone??
I think it is just the shirt sponsor that is changing. The naming of the stadium I think they have one more year on the contract from what I read. It is possible we could start the season with a blank jersey like other teams have before. I am sure they would like it in place before the season but probably not that important in the grand scheme of things.
^ I'd be very surprised if the club couldn't find a shirt sponsor by the start of the season. My best guess is that it's gonna be an existing partner, but ultimately it could be anyone who offers up the right amount of cash.

Rudi reposted an interesting article on Twitter:
http://www.marketwired.com/press-rel...mo-1285550.htm
In it, it says that the deal is until the conclusion of 2016. Was that changed?
That was a 2010 article that apparently had the wrong end date in it. I remember BMO signing on for 1 more year last year.
Road Games:
2013 - Montréal , 2014 - Orlando (Disney Classic), Montréal
2015 - Columbus, New England, Montréal
2016 - NYCFC (Leg 2 Conference Semis), Montréal (Leg 1 Conference Final)
2017 - Ottawa (Leg 1 Canadian Championship Semi), DCU, Red Bulls (Leg 1 Conference Final), Columbus (Leg 2 Conference Final)
2019 - Montréal, NYCFC (Eastern Conference Semi @ Citi Field), Seattle (MLS Cup Final)
MLS has minimum $ amount for shirt sponsors. I believe the floor is was lowered to 500k/yr a couple years ago (and MLS takes a chunk of that).
still is $4million in lost revenue for the club, although i doubt BMO paid anything close to that last year for extending one more year.

That's not remotely fair to say. In fact, it's pretty lame.
I got to spend a fair bit of time working in the Carolinas and Virginia a few years back, with our work bringing us into contact with NASCAR events and race teams like Joe Gibbs Racing, Roush Racing and Hendrick Motorsports. We met some of the nicest, most welcoming people. It was like being in the Maritimes. There aren't too many hillbillies around Charlotte, Raleigh or Richmond.
As for the race teams we dealt with, they were smart, competitive and amazingly accessible and well spoken around media. But don't let that get in the way of your overdeveloped sense of superiority.
Well he isn't the first to say it and that doesn't make him right. It takes all kinds and while I couldn't give a toss about the sport I'd be interested in the difference between the marketing laws that let them do what other sports cannot.
Oh and bigup for letting a girl race. That was a relatively recent development, was it not?

Rumor has it that we have no jersey sponsor yet and the front runner has dropped out.
Who was front runner? Pizza Pizza?
First Female Driver in NASCAR was 1949. The same year as it's 'inception'. So ya, fairly recent I guess....
