So I looked up MLS DP history.
pretty interesting.

^ Joao Plata is a DP?!?
Yeah along with Laba... interesting that we're the only team with a DP on loan to another team. Technically we have 4 DP's at the moment.
Also looks like they're missing Urutti...
He might not be a DP now, but I'm pretty sure he was when we signed him and he's not on either the present or past DP list.
Plata's DP numbers last year were better than most of those DP's on that list.
EDIT: Just checked and he was always on $200,000 so not a DP. Question: why did we give him to Portland if he wasn't a DP, I need someone to refresh my memory... I could have sworn it was to make room for a DP.

Worst of TFC's DP signings, for sure (well, Mista is a toss up for that). Always wondered why the la liga star wasn't performing. First we thought it was the surrounding cast. Then maybe his family being overseas. Later on we figured that we had been sold a beat up past-it's-prime jalopy.
Denilson is recognized league-wide as the worst DP signing of any team, ever.
