Fuck...another day of not getting any work done.
At least my F5 key had a chance to cool down on the weekend.
O, Maple Leaf around the world, You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound by ties we cannot sever,

Trading Deguz for an Israeli international?! And freeing up a DP spot?! On the 'I'd shit my pants' scale, that's a solid 6.5

what sort of wages is this israeli international on now?
Looks like $250k a year, if you believe this. Couldn't find any more info http://www.onlinesport.ro/stiri/fotb...-la-steaua.htm
Edit: And he isn't a regular on the Israeli team. But he has played and pretty well.

what is the maximum before a player must be declared for DP status, hope if true we can gain a player on the defensive line, and have a suitable team for our future
Is he gone yet?

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Julian DeGuzman is at practice today ... I do not see frings or koevermans

I don't know if all this makes any sense. I personally would like to see JDG stay with the team to play with better players for at least the rest of the season to see if he can produce. Although his favored position is sitting over the back 4, I can also see him playing on the right or left side of the midfield, having Frings over the back 4. If JDG is dealt it would mean that the midfield would be Dunfield and Sturgis with Frings. I think we would be much better if we played Frings with Dunfield and JDG. They are all (Frings, Strugis, JDG and Dunfield) capable of interchanging with each other but I think JDG has a much better understanding than at least Sturgis on how to do this.
Whether to keep JDG depends on whether they can sign another DP player (say, a defender). If not... then there is no urgency to dump him. He's no worse than any of the alternatives... and maybe we'll see some flashes of the la liga JDG come back when he has better players to play with.

I agree with letting JDG settle in with frings and company I think his game will be much better , he could even score a goal.
BTW Julian is working out on the sidelines, no Iro and grifit is here too
Griffit is there? or no?
I wonder why Iro's not there?
200 or so
