Ya I have seen Gargan on, but thought it was cool they had the whole panel of TFC guys, however I'm disappointed it was only one segment, I thought it would be for the whole panel time. booooo

Landburg is a fucking asshole, who should be fired. He's basically sitting there insulting the players and the sport they play. I want to see this jerkoff take a clip to the ankle or a slide tackle, and tell me it's a pussy sport, or that "the other football, the better football" nonsense is true. Fuck him.
I watched about 1 minute of it, just to see our guys.. and as soon as he started to speak.. I stopped watching.. I honestly don't care about the opinions of 'sports journalists' especially when they try to talk about sports they don't know much about and don't really care much about..
That said.. I wish I could unsubscribe to TSN... maybe i can convince rogers to swap TSN for 24-hour Paint Drying...

The sports journalists that aren't retired athletes are the ones that never had what it takes to make it so they decided to go on TV. Landsberg is all of 5 foot 1 so he has a natural Napoleonic complex.

I am not lying when I say that I haven't watched TSN in 2 years. Their hard-on for CFL and NHL was finally enough for me.

I'm not a Landsberg defender, but sometimes he says things to get a reaction, or says what the average moron thinks; in this case, about the World Cup being an embarrassment.
It's a good idea to have / encourage an open dialogue on ideas that may seem stupid, without insulting responses. The RPB Board should consider doing it this way one day.
Other thank his comment about the "other football" at the end of the clip, I don't think it was that bad (even that quote isn't that bad). He's saying things to get a reaction and clearly it's working...

Landsberg was kind of being an ass, but at the same time, none of the guys were really offering much of a defense of the World Cup, haha.
When Landsberg made his quip about the referee "changing the rules" in the final, Dichio should have simply pointed out that referees let players get away with more in the NHL playoffs, too. It's the nature of "big games" - referees don't want to become the story.

I get that Landsberg is trying to be controversial for the show, but the whole time he was trying to get the players to admit it was wrong for the ref to have a different standard for the World Cup final than for another matc I kept thinking, what about playoff hockey in the nhl, ... if only one of the players had thought of that.
