So Carl Robinson said thet weren't one of the 2 Canadian teams trying to get the first pick....so TFC was trying to get Larin I assume.....interesting.

NYRB just picked the guy nobody thinks will ever play here.

And Seattle swoop Roldan from Salt Lake.
Jloome you got a scoop on that move?

Yeah, they're going to move him to USL team for this year to bulk up. He's too small and pushed off the ball, apparently. But his brother goes to school in Seattle and he's got a major eventual upside as a tackler and distributor. He's like Nick Besler but faster, more athletic, smaller and younger.
Physically would compare well with Ozzie Alonso.
The guy I'm surprised hasn't gone yet is Dzenan Catic, who looked sheer quality at the combine and has a very impressive college record, something close to one-in-two.
He'll probably sign in Germany for a second div team, or maybe in Switzerland. Pro ready -- he was offered a pro deal before he went to college and turned it down to get a degree. But they get his rights if he's available in the next three years, too. Problematically, he's been saying all year he won't play in MLS.
Columbus grab Sergio Campbell for a first round next year from Colorado where they picked Axel Sjoberg but only because they dealt their freakin head coach to Dallas but they only have it from us because we got Jackson.
That we only had because we traded Stephan Frei to Seattle.
Straight up pick. Clear as glass.

Ives is reporting Stoltz worked the deal out with RBNY in advance.
KC get Amadou Dia for trading Teal Bunbury.
What's happening now? Target Canada commercial break between rounds?

Stolz with play for the Red Bulls alright.
In Leipzig, amirite????
This dude ( https://twitter.com/NSurkamp9 ) is with Simmonen right now and says this...
@travismclark Seatte would have drafted him with their next pic if Toronto didn't.
The rest of this will be awesome.
Who remembers Mamadou Danso playing for the Impact?
Portland up.
Then Orlando get a pick for dealing a Mark Sherrod to San Jose who was left unprotected by Houston.

These are important picks coming up. The guys who will fill my extra MLS fantasy spots they added last year.
ok now it's Salt Lake Christian Roldan pick.
But Seattle only got it from Chivas with the Sharlie Joseph deal.

Shit, I didn't realize the Whitecaps picked up Kay Banjo.
ooooo here's another great pick. This one for Vancouver for dealing Alain Rochat who almost immediately went overseas.

Have to admit, my thinking about these lower-than-top-20 draft picks has changed due to the USL Pro teams. Some of these players might have a chance to do something. In the past, would never heard about these cats ever again.
Eric Bird to Philly because they've been loaning Zac MacMrath to Colorado. Also because Geoffrey Castrillon (went overseas) and Dmitri Imbongo went to NE and Joe Nasco (now in Atlanta on loan) went Colorado. I love it.
DC get Dan Metzger because LA didn't want some other spot some other year.
Ooooooookay
That just about does it for me. Ima going home.
Canada down 1 nil.
