enjoy JDG for the rest of the year boys...
Just heard from his close friend that he wants out asap with January being the time.
Some people noticed he didn't look happy at the press release... Hmmm
I wonderrr?
Or you can ignore this and keep living in your " he's here for 3.5 years b.s"
Why do you think they gave us grass, so when he leaves we will still be happy?
Iunnno looking that way for real
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Pity it's not up to him anymore eh?
He won't leave in January without massive amounts of cash being exchanged...especially not when Mo spent the whole press conference going on about how he's here for the long haul. If he turned around and sold him that quickly he'd swing for sure!
I like the fact that he's locked up. Meaning he CAN leave if someone wants to pay. And someone will. But if they pay...that means more money for us and now that they've signed one DP, they can't get the horse back in the barn and not sign another if they lose JDG. That's a good thing.
The signing alone signals they mean business and want to compete. Let's hope they stop dropping the ball in other areas and put together a playoff calibre team next season from the start as opposed to halfway (or 3/4 of the way) through the season.
For this line alone, you're full of shit.
MLSE has been working on the grass issue for longer than the JDG, and they were at the mercy of City Council and subcommittee (CNE board) timelines. It's just coincidence that the Ex Place board ratified the proposal on the same day as JDG's signing, unless you're insinuating that they've been working for over a year to appease us for when we lose De Guzman.
Oh, and they didn't "give" us grass yet, either. It still needs to be passed by the Council vote at the end of the month.
Thanks for playing, though.
Rudi, you haven't assesed the JDG leaving part yet.
I dunno, I have no work to do... so it would make for a good laugh/read.
Funny thing, though.
My chiropractor's cousin's postman (who's closely related to JDG's next door neighbour) told me the same thing!
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
What? my assessment not good enough Jay?
Nope. I don't value pig's opinions. Their reputations have typically been dragged through the mud.
Point. In. Case.
Why would he leave in January when there is apparently no out clause? He just wanted to play 4-5 games for TFC and pay a million dollars or two in order to buy out his contract afterwards? Makes lots of sense .....
^^Cool avatar! That show is fu*k'n hilarious!
^^ What about the sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads?! Throw me a frickin bone here...
Don't you guys see the bigger picture...JDG is just here for now to distract us until jan. Then Mo will sign our real DP who'll be free at that time. Mo's already said he has a couple guys on the radar....must be true. It all makes sense.
Start making the list of free players as of jan 15....c'mon now!!!
