Disagree. Great way to have a adventure, with first world schools and hospitals and lifestyle, for a few years.
I am guessing you haven't been to Japan.

If someone would rather live in Tokyo than Toronto then their reasoning is beyond me tbh.
    I've been btw.

    I agree

Hard place to work (because you have to work so hard) but if you have the op to do the same job as anywhere else, Japan is a fantastic place. super safe, amazing food, great tech. its a real adventure

Have we learned nothing from Mr Baseball

Tokyo I agree, just way too crowded, but other smaller cities (still really large compare to us) are fantastic options

It's been a long time since Japan was this active. They kind of owned this market in the 1990s, with a whole bunch of Brazil MNT players going there.

It's true, very few went to Tokyo.

He was in town last month - a local choir group did a sing along with him & put it on Youtube. Everybody but him wasn't born when he was good.

    I hate you, Bluenose.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Canadian center back David Edgar is available don’t know how much he would cost but at least he has experience , is not some teenager with no experience in the MLS or some journeyman American over the hill player. We need someone decent back there because I don’t see any of Mavinga, Zavaleta or Moore being able to come back anytime soon, please no more Bradley in the back we need Bradley in the mid and someone capable like an Edgar to step in , because by the time guys like Mavinga are back the fat lady will have already sang her song!

He better get his mind in the game because if he thinks he is bigger than the team then he can go because that can become a locker room issue. Last game he missed yet ANOTHER penalty. Besides the wonder strike against Tigres has there been another free kick goal in 2018 that wasn't scored in preseason? Trying to recall. All recent chances hit the wall or miss the net completely. His ability to create chances in open play seems more limited this year as well especially without Jozy occupying the attention of some of the defenders. He was completely ineffective with several chances against Dallas running straight into the defenders and losing the ball over and over again. Then he posts something like this and wants an early contract extension? For what. Based on past achievements? How about putting on a display this year that warrants any kind of extension first...he was brought here to score and create goals. He needs to do it on a regular basis otherwise play out your contract and see where you are. If he wasn't being public about this crap I wouldn't be doing this rant but he is so I am.

    To be fair

    a) he didn't put up that two stick - he's just responding

    b) of course he's going to like it on social media - its part of the process. Comes with the territory of having a good player.

It might be technically crowded, but the public transit infrastructure is so amazing you can get around the city easily. I spent a week and a half there on vacation and did not find that it felt crowded at all, found it super easy to get around to almost anywhere in the city

    Plus the food was incredible
