We have no depth beyond these guys- and I'd say 6 of those guys are really depth level next year

Your guess is as good as mine because I was holding my breath every time he was on the ball through that entire qualifying cycle.

I'm laying it on a bit thick though - like I said he's good as someone to bring off the bench, I think he's just fine. My issue is I don't think he's an everyday starter on a winning MLS team, and we paid way too much for him.

For example I think Marky Delgado is a better player, and we let him go for literally half the money we paid for Kaye, not even including letting go of Priso PLUS a 1st round pick. Just horrible asset management.

And it’s also like how seriously are you taking this league?

Kaye was bad with Canada too this year. I'm still hopeful he'll figure things out in 2023 but that's down to emotional reasons more than any actual game evidence from this year. There's no way he was worth a million plus priso and I think virtually all of us agree with that

I dunno... this is bad. The tactics aren't there. There's too many players that aren't good enough. It looks like the team has given up. Im going to go have a drink (or ten) tonight. Don't be too hard on anyone here, we all want TFC to win.

They just completely stopped playing the last couple minutes of that half. Some absolutely pitiful stuff there from Kaye and Insigne.

Eustaquio said he likes playing with Kaye. Eustaquio is the main cog in that midfield. It could be that Kaye is fine in midfield as a cog who's role is to get it to the main piece. I didn't watch him WITH Colorado or LAFC. Could be that he's regressed inthe last year. I do remember the last couple of Canada games I wasn't all that impressed mainly the early red card he got in one.

Scoring straight from a corner kick. It looked like both Berna and Insigne tried to do that on their corners tonight.

We need 2 keepers, 2 centrebacks, a midfielder and a striker. Does anyone believe this gets fixed in the next transfer window?

His best years came playing with guys like Atuesta and Blessing who have incredible engines. I wonder if they masked some of his defensive flaws.

They should have a list of 10-15 guys for each position running already. If they don’t they should be sacked.

Kilbane should probably be coaching. Dude pretty much nails it 90% of the time. Mcnaughton can't get into an foot race there. Again, it's not a tactical necessity to play the whole team high when attacking.

I mean, allegedly BB is a really smart guy and things will snap together next year but it’s hard not to doubt of bit of what we’re doing here on every level.

Player acquisition, tactical decisions, team unity… everything feels a bit foul

At this point shouldn't we just be playing the kids everywhere to see who we should for sure keep for next season? I mean, the season is over, why risk injury to the DPs?

Glad TSN keeps playing this Sean Johnson commercial to remind us what a good keeper looks like.

We have played the kids - they are not good enough. Play the DP's and get them reps with each other & the others sticking around.
