    Pigeon vs Hawk? Great photo

This one was really really interesting and if I didn't have a whole bunch of stuff this weekend I'd probably be going.

I selfishly hope Oso doesn't see much of the field tonight.

they need to lose by a lot to lose the top seeding. They should play the fringe guys who always show up but don’t get regular time and the kids. Kone, Millar, Crepaud, Ugbo etc

If nothing was on the line I would agree but the chance to move up into Pot C is worth going for since it's right there. Besides if TFC can't survive without Osorio at 100% then we don't deserve to get a result versus NYCFC anyway.

Top seeding doesn’t really matter though. It’s world ranking. Winning today may be the difference between being pot 3 and pot 4 for World Cup draw.

Aren't we only +4 on the US? We looked dangerous in Costa Rica and were unlucky to come away without any goals, even down to 10 men. Not saying it will happen, but it would not surprise me if the US put 2 or 3 past them.

So they require five to top us, due to the head to head. Add in us probably getting a goal no matter what group we put out there and it’s a six-goal swing, in all likelihood. I’d say that’s pretty safe.

No Oso starting tonight. No problem with him playing 25 minutes, but at this point it is all about TFC until after the season.

Based on Manning's interview with Molinaro, don't expect Bono to be anywhere but in the nets - he was talked about as a leader. Now that might mean management is trying to pump him up to actually become a leader - not sure. But, he is going to start until the world ends I suspect.

Oh god… why is every coach so stuck on this guy? He’s not even in the top half of MLS keepers (and I think that’s a generous assessment)

It's probably strategic. He plays better when he's confident, plus he has some defense in front of him now. If he has a good season, they can move him for some money even if they're actually concerned about his consistency.

But maybe they just think that facing fewer shots and being more of an occasional big stop reaction keeper, he'll come good, or at least be tolerably decent.

Even with our most solid defense ever (2017) he was still guilty of at least one boner move per match He was just lucky and not punished as we had good defensive cover when he dropped balls or misjudged coming out for crosses.

Same reason Harry Maguire starts for England and ManU.

Cause it would kill the English to admit there is a better CB that plays in Italy?

In our case, it seems it would kill our long term GK coach to admit that he is wrong - I have come to the conclusion that Westberg was brought in by Vanney under cover of being a backup & was just better then Bono enough for Vanney to make the switch over Conway's objections.

    Haha.

If we extend his contract at the same wage(480K) I would be concerned, even half that is too much for what is really a backup keeper, well find out soon enough near the year end, or summer if they had plans to trade him.

Same here - 2 tequila shots and a large glass of wine later is why I thought there was an issue but guess not.

Last year we were given food credits for leaving our season tickets money with TFC. Can anyone tell me how to access it?

It’s a bit complicated. In fact I cannot find it anymore. But I think you start with stadium.
