Looks like they had an amateur redo the academy entrance wall to get BMO on there. It's not centered or left-aligned, just looks stupid.
The presser interviews today are extensive.

30 minutes with Vanney
20 minutes with Bradley
10 minutes with Cheyrou
Interesting stat from the Twitteratti:
Over the last decade, 83% of all CL players at QF stage started playing 1st-team football from 17.
Makes me wonder if North America's development model is all wrong.
Did anything ever come from the 'future considerations' in the Laba deal with Vancouver all those years ago?
The Miami Project looks like it is finally a go

And in other news, after not being able to get a site in Austin, looks like Precourt might be open to selling the Crew.

Cheyrou to the U17.
Speaking of Miami Monday announcement, what are the odds that:
1. They will announce that all hurdles for building the Overtown stadium have been cleared and construction will start in the spring.
2. They will formally announce that Miami has officially been granted a franchise that will start play in 2020.
3. They will state that Beckham's ownership group has brought Riccardo Silva on board as a minority stake owner and that Miami FC will make the jump from NASL to MLS, starting play in USL in 2018?
First preseason action for TFC ended with a 4-0 win over three 45 min. periods. Goals from Endoh, Hundal, Telfer and Johnson. I suspect the kids put in a bit more effort than the vets.
FWIW,
Morrow starts for USMNT vs Bosnia at LB. Delgado on the bench. Bono not in the 20.
Bosnia sent the C team but well....lets just say the US starts Zardes.
Miami MLS officially announced! They already have a passionate group of fans and from what I saw during the conference, Beckham seems like he'll be a great owner that gives his all. Exciting times for MLS
A few tidbits from Miami
Indicated afterwards will start in 2020 in another stadium.
No name yet
No colours yet
Tim L is...ahem...no longer with the organization.
And the really interesting kicker - their ownership almost quit on the project 2 months ago.

Also - Beckham mentioned that some top players (didn't say who) were interested in going to Miami. Dumb to speculate now but just imagine one of Beckham's old friends like Wayne Rooney or Cristiano Ronaldo joining the team. Would be incredible for the growth of the league. Also mentioned that he wants a world-class academy as well
tfc win 7- 1 today..jozy.haggs.oso.white,chaps 2 and yes spencer.
Might explain why MLS are developing the idea of young DP's. Almost impossible for an MLS team to sign a big money youngster in 17-23 years old category. It's not going to be good for the league if every young star goes elsewhere. The 3 DP system all but rules out taking a risk on a high cost youngster. When our system is used to paying <$100k for young players - there is a big problem. The best under 23's in the world are looking for that amount a week.
But Seba didn't. Should we get worried? #preseason
