I really like how committed we are to winning this competition. Pretty sad when Vancouver never even tried in CONCACAF. It will be epic on Tuesday - this team never give up.

CA honestly did not seem super strong to me (relative to my expectations and Tigres, who are noticeably better). On a neutral pitch I think TFC wins 4, 4 draws, and CA wins 2.

Now, I do believe that the conditions are a real worry that can equalize things, and I'm not saying CA are a bad team by any means. But I think it is very doable for TFC.
Just for reference, CA have only ever lost once in the CCL at the Azteca. Only one draw ever, too (but it was against the Limpact).

They lost 3-0 to Herediano in the first leg once, then proceeded to beat them down 6-0 at the Azteca.

America had a frustrating game Saturday. Tied an inferior Necaxa team 1-1. Conceded an 85th minute equalizer, then hit the post in extra time.

They are not firing on all cylinders going into tomorrow night.

I am cautiously confident that TFC will get a result, if that makes any sense at all

That may be a shame. Dominguez was invisible at BMO.

Tom Marshall, one of the best English lang Liga MX analysts out there thinks TFC will go through.

Since I have a sour personality, I take this as a bad sign.

They tied Saprissa 1-1 at home at azteca this year. But to be fair they were leading leg 1 5-1 before leg 2.

Even if we lose out, this ccl ride has been worth it, i have watched MLS closely this season and not one team comes close to scaring me or is on our level. Just being honest, not arrogant. Look around, not one dominant team in MLS . NYFC ? pfft ...not buying it. Reddit made a big deal over Sporting Kansas start and win over the Galaxy, we will wipe the floor with them as far as i can see. Trying to be unbiased but TFC really is a cut above, talent, style of play, etc...just better. Rest of league playing catch up.

    Mexico City weather forecast:

It looks like a 90% chance of rain with 5-10mm expected. Almost like Toronto last week, but 19 degrees

Gringo's are the Yanks...doesn't apply to the Canucks. So my Guadalajaran Chivas supporting colleague tells me.

I think mostly they just feel sorry for us because it is so cold. That and the problem that our only neighbours are such pricks.

    At William Hill they have
    CA 64%
    X 21%
    TFC 15%

But when you allow TFC a 1 goal handicap, then the odds flatten out to
    CA 39%
    X 19%
    TFC 42%

This puts it at a minimum 61% chance of seeing TFC advance.

We have to give it our all! It's important that we acknowledge the fact that we already have a 3-1 advantage going into this game! And, we have to play their style of game meaning they are in Mexico, and we have already played they're except we played a different team. Thus, we have to acknowledge the fact that, we have the ability to win, and be the best, because we are the best in the United States and Canada. We need to maintain our composure, and go in with the attitude, that we are the best, and that we won't take them lightly, simply because we love them, but we need to show them, that we are a strong Canadian side, and that we can get the job done.

I have a very nervous energy about this game. One that I haven't had since the ECF leg 2 game against the L'Impact 2 years ago. It is almost like a nervous tension. I think it is due to realizing we are possible 90 minutes from the final. If we score tonight I am confident we will go through. We cannot afford to sit back and absorb wave after wave, that is not our style. We need to dictate the pace of the game and make their backline as uncomfortable as possible.I don't think the pressure will get to the team. When you look down the roster, this team is filled with big game guys. VDW played in the WC final vs Spain, Bradley, Altidore and Vazquez are all very familiar with the Azteca, Seba has seen big crowds with his time at Juve, Mavinga has played in front of 90,000 multiple times. If they can keep guys like Delgado, Oso, Morgan and Bono calm and focused I like our chances. Win, Lose or Draw I am proud of the showing this team has had. With that being said, Lets win this fucking game!!!

We've gone so far I can't even be nervous anymore. But then I'm not in Mexico this time.

I'll be at Joe's to watch Chivas and our match.

The upper bowl of Azteca is nuts. I predict Club America win 2-1 and all MLS final.

I'm proud of the boys no matter what happens. That being said, we have a golden opportunity tonight and it would be a shame to stop now.
