We need to go back to our old way of signing DPs; go for overpaid Canadians (JDG) who won't miss much time because Canada can't advance in any tournaments or guys like Mista & Hasli, with whom we will get full value for in games played. Well then. I think the sarcasm meter just broke but agreed.
When we look at the most successful teams in the league over time they didn't just keep over paying for talent on DPs but found a balance. Sure it's more difficult but every team will have to do it some time. I hope when the time comes we can too. Till then - MAke it RAIN!

It's not like we're the only ones affected by missing DPs. There's two goddamn tournaments going on at the same time and MLS wants to play games in that window.
I can see people being upset at Altidore cause of his injuries.
But people upset at Micheal Bradley, the captain of the USMNT, who's been off the charts with his passing stats and the best DM in the league this season, that's freaking nuts.

Speaking of Altidore, have we gotten any updates on him? i know it was 6-8 weeks but we are into week 5 and no updates.
The last I heard some doctor from California figured out what the problem was that makes him prone to hamstring problems then nothing else. My guess is that he'll be back in mid July.
