Looks like Poz is already making his mark….https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/m...264633041.html
Happy for him. Even if it means we probably don’t get more than 3 out of 6 points against them.
According to Higuain’s comments in the article, sounds like Poz is being used correctly and in a system that suits him. For those calling for him to have stayed here as a false nine, he was never very good at it. The more range he’s allowed, including deep lying, the more you’re going to get out of him and his huge contract.
As a ten, Vanney pushed him as high as humanly possible but he did it carefully and purposefully. Playing him as a false nine was simply because there were no other viable options up front at the time.
it's away but I still have pretty big expectations - let's make up that ground
I'm thinking a draw would be a good result.
I expect Miami to come out of the gate hard and fast. If we can whether the early storm could maybe look for a result.
We certainly need good keeping and defending to have any chance.
Higuaín and Insigne played at Napoli together for a number of years so I'm sure it will be happy for them to see each other.
Expecting this to be a close one. Although Bono is Bono, he usually can bounce back to being average after a disasterous performance.
I assume Apple is now killing YouTube code
as I'm seeing no video for the second-straight game.
Sigh. Hopefully your dog is spared.
Well if you insist....the best musician ever from around those parts (I just couldn't find a mental link somehow from a bass jazz dude to this game)
Maybe the one quote I saw
Whats the future of MLSonce Jaco was asked, "what's the future of jazz?" and responded with something like, "Well, next week, I'll be in Miami."
"Well next week, TFC will be in Miami"

The view from Miami on this one.... (must disable adblocker)

Kaufman is the best follow for day to day Inter Miami information.
That's why I'm saying that there must be some Bogers angle that's keeping Conway in that position. He must know someone with influence, and that person is Andi Petrillo. They got married in 2012 - the same year Conway began as the TFCAcademy keeper coach. He appears to be the one true untouchable in the organization.

Please someone tell me Kaye is playing finally?
its literally now, win all out or the playoffs are done.
Given how little evidence or information we have from which to draw conclusions, you could just as easily conclude Bono would be even worse if he wasn't here.
The only really good season he ever had we had Drew Moor marshalling the league's best defence in front of him.
He's been an accident waiting to happen for six other seasons. Maybe he's just not a very good keeper.
Blaming Conway on nothing but assumptions that someone else would've done better also assumes four straight managers have no judgment regarding their support team.
More probably, Bono's ceiling was always as a very good backup who can pass as a starter on a defensively strong team. And Q is a 35-year-old who spent most of his career as a backup, was always undersized, and had COVID before the season started.
Most of the online odds people seem to be picking us again.
It’s so hard to judge Conway’s performance (or any assistant coach really). Most of their work is done at training which none of us are privy too. To jloome’s point, maybe our GKing would be much worse without him (although that’s maybe hard to believe). My view is though that it’s probably worth bringing in a new face just to try something different.
