It's not confirmed yet. The website claims " there should be updates in the coming hours " since yesterday.
cant we just give casillas a paid corporate role of MLSE European Ambassador and a salary of 200k?
Twitter buzzing that Juventus has pretty much released Giovinco from the contract, and that Toronto is asking the league office at MLS if they can bring him in January.
Well he's listed as a sub for todays game...

#Juventus substitutes: Buffon, Rubinho, Caceres, Barzagli, Bonucci, Evra, Pogba, Pereyra, Morata, Giovinco. #ParmaJuve
Yeah, I saw that too. Maybe they will wait until after the cup game to do it. Juve will have to bring in their forward replacement as soon as Giovinco leaves. But who knows what to believe.
See this is the offseason we've asked for. Are you not entertained?
If Giovinco starts in todays game or brought on as a sub, this will be a sign that its his final farewell to Juve/Italy.
Have to say Danielle has been outstanding so far. A thousand times better than Lee Godfrey.
People still have Gol TV channel?

yup...i do in HD...
His home is Canada.
Read more here: http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2...tles-and-more/Switching back to his homeland, when asked about Toronto FC’s huge investments in the transfer market of late and if he’d ever fancy a move to MLS to play in his hometown, Hoilett certainly left the door wide open.
“I follow Toronto FC. It is my home city. We just got Sebastian Giovinco and there’s a lot of Italians in Toronto so that will go down very well. I’m happy for him,” Hoilett smiled. “Toronto has grown as a soccer city, they have one of the biggest fanbases in MLS, so I follow Toronto FC and MLS very closely over here. The MLS is growing and everyone is getting excited. They are bringing in younger players, very talented players in. So yeah, one day, hopefully the chance will come to play for my city. That would be perfect.”
I could see Hoilett and his brother playing for TFC one day.

Casillas.... when we have 2 promising goalkeeping prospects just waiting in the wings? Can we please just focus on our priorities and not shove money in the face of every former european star that says he wants to come to MLS?
Might be the best news of the offseason. That guy was a complete dolt. I recall one home match where it was ugly, in the midst of one of our uglier stretches and he tried to grab a player (i think it was Hall) for an interview, but he was livid and shrugged him off. Dude threw a childish bitch fit for a good 5 minutes. Stamping his feet, red in the face type crap. Total putz.
If Juventus gets Pazzini or Osvaldo then Giovinco will come to TFC.
