FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
Perhaps he is. At least he is talking about getting a soccer mind in to run the soccer operations. Hopefully they do something soon. I not on the fence for renewing but could be put back on the fence or even on the renewal side with some positive changes in the front office.
Possibly. But he is a big proponent of developing and hiring local talent. De Vos is a big believer that their are some very smart football people in Canada who's talents are not being used at the youth and professional level. He is always backing the hiring of Canadians or ex-pats now living in Canada. The point being, we do not necessarily need to hire outside Canada.
de vos has been up management's arse for a long time. Loves and was pushing for mariner to take over from winter, believed we'd be doing well if we had left cochrane and Dasovic to run the show. I have little time for him any more
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round... The "Players' Coach" speaks again:
I guess Reggie will disappear into the Bermuda Triangle shortly, joining Avila & Kocic...Kurtis Larson @KurtLarSUN
Mariner's not happy with Reggie Lambe at the moment for declaring himself healthy to play for Bermuda on the weekend. #TFC
Lambe is taking part in the Digicel Cup (aka the Carribean Cup). I believe that is qualifying for the Gold Cup.
Freddy Hall is also called to the Bermuda squad.

Bermuda has matches on then 7th, 9th and 11th.

I do blame Mariner and the whole organization for having too many embarrassing tiffs & unresolved situations leaking into the public & onto the field. Act like adults, have some good communication & some professional management, work out an arrangement you can both live with. Maybe the best decision is "don't play internationally if you were too injured to play for the club." Or the best decision might be "MLS season is shot anyway, let's give you a break on these meaningless games so you can heal fully, if you're good enough for a WCQ (or Gold Cup qualifying) than that will be a good experience for your development." I don't really give a shit, it's all over anyway for this year. Just stop dumping your unwashed laundry on the fans, asking us to pick sides between player & coach. It's effing unprofessional.
TFC officially confirm Frings is done for the year. Needs hip surgery.
