We've bossed this game so far to be fair. Just haven't taken our chances. Whatever the result, appears we have resumed right where we left off from last season.

Yea minus the early season slop we look dangerous
Liking what I'm seeing from Vasquez so far.
Agent Plata saving the game for us.
Caught out bad
Plata coughs up a bigger furball than Gio.
Phew.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Irwin, Beita looking good. Cooper not so much.
This ref is ridiculous
Yea he has lost the plot
TFC will get another guilted edge chance in this game....can they take it?
how is Schuler still on the field? The guy fouls practically every play.
so many chances, should have won it there at the end. Frustrating (but not as frustrating as it could have been)
Should have been 3 pts but a very useful draw.
Not one of Giovinco's better games probably one of his worst, needs to do better.
Take the point and get better for next week.
A good result, though had the better chances and probably should've won.
Should've won it in the first half. Oh well. Road draw, I'm not gonna complain too much. Tons and tons of rustiness out there, especially our passes out from the back 3 and in the final third.
I'm gonna be totally honest, Giovinco looked like he did when playing hurt vs Montreal and Seattle. That's not a good start.
Vazquez looked pretty good, his passing quality is clear.
Altidore as usual gets manhandled all game and the refs don't give a shit. What else is new.
Should have brought in Ricketts instead of Delgado. Regardless, I'm fine with the result, we played well overall. Vasquez looks like a solid upgrade over Osorio so far.
Poor performance from both teams. TFC got what they deserved. Does Haggland continue to start after this trully awful game? Seems, he gave away the ball a dozen times.
Overall a very positive road performance. Season opener is possibly the worst game to play in Salt Lake, and the boys were definitely the better team.
Fullbacks put in a good shift. Back three was solid despite some giveaways.
Bradley missed some passes but did well to cover a lot of ground when the other mids were caught. Oso wasn't great but Cooper had a real stinker. Even the ball that won the penalty was horribly overhit. Neither made a push to keep their starting positions, one of which should be given to Vazquez starting next game. Can easily tell the difference in IQ, always keeping his head up and playing quick, clean passes. Partnership with Seba looks promising. Do foresee some spaces left in the midfield though, he doesn't seem overly excited to track back. Might need to consider a diamond moving forward.
Seba was poor by his standards, Jozy worked hard but was ineffective for long stretches.
This ref was clearly excited to do stuff after the offseason. Some real head-scratching decisions.
Lastly, after all the unbearable broadcasts we've endured in the past, what a pleasure it is to listen to Wileman and Caldwell call a game. With every game on TSN, I hope curling is on all year ...

We won't get a better chance of a win than we had today in Utah. Weak in front of goal - Gio started where he left off last season. Something doesn't seem to be right with him - should have been subbed for Ricketts at 80 minutes. Was wishing we had Johnson instead of Cooper late in the game when it counted. Overall a decent result for a tough away game to start the season. Opportunity missed. Hope to see more of Vasquez. A few shaky moments at the back - but overall a solid performance defensively.
Take the point in a very tough place to play and come home and reorganize. Vazquez looked great passing the ball and was a clear upgrade from what was going on up to that point from that spot. Road draws against most western conference opponents are always welcome.
COYR
Two take away's from this game. Both Cooper & Morrow need to cut their hair.
That game felt just like one giant letdown.
I don't know if it was the stadium/atmosphere, the wind, or whatever. So very bland and run of the mill.
But, I consider a 0-0 draw on the road a steal, so I'll take the dirty point.
On to Philly.
I am disappointed with the TFC attacking play shown today.
Unfortunately Seba is continuing his bad form shown in the last 3 games of the last season.
If that does not change in the next 2 games, that's grounds for serious concern in my book.
Vazquez has played exactly as expected. Don't count him ever supporting full-hearted the defense.
The reason is not really his fitness IMO, but more it's not in his DNA to do it.
Other than these I have nothing to take from this game.
Not a good one and not a bad one.
