Looks like the Whitecaps are getting Blackmon from Charlotte for some GAM. Decent piece of business there.

In addition to the Defoe free kick incident, I remember Gilberto getting robbed my the referee (Gantar?) and MLS / PRO having to apologize the next day.
Sebastian Leget is the replacement for Tajon, for $1.3M in GAM over three years.

FC Dallas and German Bundesliga side FC Augsburg are finalizing a club-record transfer for US men's national team forward Ricardo Pepi, sources confirmed to MLSsoccer.com.
The deal will be worth around $20 million plus add-ons, making him the most expensive outgoing MLS homegrown player – at least upfront – after Vancouver Whitecaps FC transferred Alphonso Davies to Bayern Munich in 2018.

Bob Bradley's replacement at LAFC is Steve Cherundolo. Must be a letdown for LAFC supporters
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
Wow lafc bring cherundolo whose only head coaching experience was finishing last of uslc western conference last season...he gets rewarded with a head coaching job in mls...pepi sold for 20M
Steve Cherundolo named new LAFC head coach

Alex Ring not Brad
Miami dumping salary (although Pizarro would not be a dump of a DP slot)

I thought Pizarro was a good player on a poorly constructed team. Maybe that’s an outdated take but always struck me as hard working and a good team guy.
Now some of the others are straight trash but I digress…

More experienced owners being added to the MLS. David blitzer is a minority owner of the NJ devils, Philly 76ers, Crystal Palace and a few other teams. Smith entertainment group owns the Utah jazz.
The rising mls team values are extraordinary and the profits from these types of sales cover up for any yearly losses.
Former midfielder Jay Chapman may be about to sign with Dundee United. I rate him, but clearly Miami did not.
I think this kid has game. When we had some injuries back in 2017, he flawlessly ran the midfield for a game or two and turned in some sublime performances.
But I think he falls in the category of thinking he’s already there rather than working for it. Guys like Osorio, Laryea, Kaye… all not far off his age and could have been on a similar path but they played with an absolute chip on their shoulder for a while to get over the hump.
Never saw the same fire out of chappers…
its actually the opposite...worked his butt off in miami to get time in a very crowded midfield and played the most minutes games and starts of his career in 2021...25 games 13 starts...good job to him
AS previously mentioned, Raheem is now official at LA Galaxy, three-year deal.
Both Beitashour and Moor have re-signed for Colorado, good news for them.
Former draftee Jon Bakero has joined Slavia Sofia in Bulgaria, and is staying with Hristo Stoitchkov.

So how much GAM do you think Philadelphia will get this year in their annual trade all their picks for Garber Bucks trade?
Edit:Actually they already traded the 1st and 2nd rounders. They have a 3rd rounder, but I doubt that has trade value

BTW, Matuidi going to Troyes (City Group team), and Pepi made his debut at Augsburg today. Pepi should do well in a league that knows how to look after and develop young players.
