If LAFC keeps turning youth players we've rejected into first teamers, it's going to raise some questions about our youth setup.

Or maybe questions about who the best evaluator of talent at TFC actually is.

I'd like to know why Marc-Anthony Kaye was at TFC II for one season, forced into playing LB, then released. Other players they kept on instead have fallen off the face of the earth. Did he choose to leave or let go?

Now only 2 years later at 23 he is a key midfielder for LAFC starting every game plus has 6 caps for Canada

Can’t post a link at the moment, but in a reply to Kurt Larson on twitter, Darren O’Dea said he will be in town next week and will be at the DC game.

    The end of an era.

Barrett was a reasonably clutch player, just not here.

I remember watching a Philly - Seattle US Open Cup Final a few years back when we were at our worst. The game was 1-0 Philly, Edu had scored, Frei was standing on his head to keep Seattle in it, then Barrett scored a beauty to tie it. (Hat tip to the Athletic, which had a story about this game a few days ago, which reminded me)

All our core guys from early TFC were having great games ... for other teams!

    Flags at half mast.

Gilberto has gotten off to a flying start for Bahia in the Brazilian top flight. 8 goals in 13 games. Good for him

That is great to see him continuing to find success. He had a decent season last year with Sao Paulo with 13 goals in 33 appearances.

Always glad to hear good news about Gilberto.
Enjoyed watching him while he was here with TFC.
So excited when I won an autographed Gilberto jersey.
Then . . . TFC let him go!

Mississauga Metrostars is the newest team in the MASL (Major Arena Soccer League) and first Canadian team, starting play December 1st. I'm gonna have to go see a game because they feature ex-TFCers Anthony Osorio, Mo Babouli, 38 year-old Adrian Cann and out-of-retirement, 40 year-old player-coach Dwayne De Rosario. DeRo is back

I was thinking the same but I was checking again today and they posted a discount code ("METROSTARS") that makes it $20 flat after fees. Not too bad.

Guess who will be playing in the Canadian Premier League next year? Kyle Bekker (Forge FC), Sergio Camaro (Calvary FC), and Skylar Thomas (Valour FC).

Adrian Cann is captain and saw a lot of field time. He's been looking good out there.

Yeh… was wide-eyed seeing him even get called up, and then making the final squad.

    Good for him.

Quite different reception for him at the airport than the one he received in Toronto.
