Stefan Frei, is not Premier League material, but more like Championship. I think if he goes anywhere it might be France, or Holland.

^ not yet he isn't, but he has pretty good potential, and that's what would interest the PL clubs, not his current starting ability.

If there's the possibility of a big money move for Frei then I doubt MLSE would trade him away. They'll keep him and use the funds to off-set further BMO Field development, add to allocation, etc.

You have to remember he does carry an EU passport, which would make a move much easier, especially to England if that is what he wanted.

GIven that once his contract is up he can move for free, it's in Mo's interests to try to sell him to one of the premiership clubs, then get him loaned back for a couple of seasons. Given his age, they might go for it, if they're convinced his development here will be up to par.

Let's at least try to squeeze one more year outta Frei, alright? I know we could stand to get some nice coin for him on the European market, but let's sit on this egg for a bit and get as much out of him now as we can.

I do think Edwards is coming along, but Frei has shown what he's capable off on a regular basis.
