Honestly - I could have posted this in any one of several threads, but couldn't decide which - merge if you must.
I like the fact that McBride may have no interest in playing here.

a ha ha heh he hoo.. ha
Pool-noodle cricket and two more "super-secret" trialists... oooh mouth watering stuff.
Shit i wonder who they were!?!?
Cmon Pizzarro!!!!
"And in the future, when aging superstars declare their intent to play in America, will it include Toronto (or any future-awarded MLS franchises in Canada)."
This can work both ways. The Blue Jays have had trouble in the past getting guys to leave America, but maybe Canada is a better bet for some guys from the UK. I mean, we have the freakin' queen on our money, that should make them feel more at home.
Also, say what you will about MLSE, they're a big, big player in the sports world and not about to get screwed. With ownership like Microsoft and george Gillette coming into this league, the days of screwing over franchises and making up the rules as they go are probably over.
Training notes: A No. 2 and No. 35 were on the training grounds Thursday, but both were quickly ushered off before the media had a chance to investigate their names ... John Carver and Tyrone Marshall played a friendly game of cricket with what looked to be a pool noodle and tennis ball … A light-hearted mood all around in the sun at BMO as the team was split into three groups: Goalkeepers, running drills and a short-field scrimmage.
hmmmmmmm
Anyone know where Kluivert is these days?
More importantly what number he wears (also what number Pizzarro wears, god thats such a pipe dream).
Pizarro wears 14 at Chelsea and Peru
David Healy wears 9
Huckerby wears 6
Pizarro wears 14
Kluveirt wears 9 or 10
All of those numbers are currently used up though... who knows, it could still be one of them
Ya it's just a training shirt I wouldn't read too much into the actual numbers
HAHAHA
i was just about to write the samethingas the last two posts.
Im still not getting my heart set on Pizarro (just cuz its been broken before, HA)
