    Never kick the fucking post.

You'd think by their 20s they'd have learned that one.

Good move to take him out early. No point risking anything else.

That Loic Kwemi is a pretty good player. Wouldn't look out of place at a higher level.

Welp, I’m stuck on a flight and decided to splurge watch this one. Occasionally, you see cup teams that despite less talent, are incredibly cohesive and hard to play against but this isn’t one of them.

I mean, you could kill a guy like that. Fucking red every day. What the fuck is this idiot announcer talking about? He kicked another player, full force, in the face.

Embarrassing that that's supposed to be the voice of expertise, calling that a yellow.

Yeh, that's the English "not studs therefore not as bad" thinking Platt is giving -

That could have shattered Coello's eyesocket.

I'm English, so I get that logic on slide tackles. On a foot five feet above the ground, not so much. It was just rashly stupid. If he'd broken his cheekbone, we could've lost him for a month.

I also tend to think the OneSoccer crew have trouble hiding the anti-MLS bias most of the time. So for much of that half, someone listening without watching might've thought St. Laurent was dominating.

We've been sloppy in defence, but.... we have one. There's never going to be any doubt against an amateur team. I guess they have to try and sell it as well, but realistically, this ain't the exceptional brave performance they seem to be watching.

An unfortunate consequence of two decades of people in Canadian football refusing to listen to reason and go after heavy foreign investment in our own professional league.

As much as his sloppy passing has been an issue this season, his defensive play IS getting better. He's much improved on the tackle and he actually looks a little quicker than last year.

It okay, we only have to give them all our sponsorship dollars for the next 20 years. Totally fair.

Cash gets a goal. Good for him. He's working hard but decisions haven't been great today.

I do notice his off-the-ball runs are really good, though. Knows how to curve it to time breaking the trap.

He’s just too small to make it at this level. Not that his size is totally disqualifying but he doesn’t really seem to be able to fight guys off the ball if they challenge. He’s South Africa Marco Bustos.

Maybe. He's still young. He had one where he got overwhelmed and stripped but he's had a couple where he wormed away as well. I just think he's got a good game brain, knows how to be in dangerous positions. That's gold for a poacher.

My bet is, they are painted into such a tight corner that they went to their CSB overlords and said “look, if we can’t do something here, scrutiny on all of us is only going to increase” so they opened a small door for them to get out of jail.

I fear what happens post 2026, all the air might go out of the room at once.

So they need Fede to get reps because he's not playing this weekend. better to put him in when the other team is tired and demoralized, as there's no fight, and they're unlikely to cripple him.
