This is some good stuff. Have been waiting for us to put a beating on a team like this for the past 3 years

Biggest beat down we've done since Insigne and Bernas first game.

    No remorse!

Honestly after a beyond frustrating NYCFC game and Nashville game, this is the best fucking response.

We outscored the Jays 5-4 today!

    One nagging problem....

Our backline are all sub par for a club hoping to win a title

On every wide cross deep in our end all three of them let their men go and ball watch - EVERY TIME!

And any opposition ball leading a fast runner up the middle is an automatic breakaway
Loyal - Win, lose or draw!

You can't overstate enough the job Herdman has done. Are we even a year removed from the athletic article and vape gate? He inherited that and turned it into one of the most unified looking locker rooms we've had from the looks of it. Everyone bought in and playing for the team

    5-1 flattered Montreal

Missing Kevin Long today who is probably the only CB we have who can read the game properly. We need 1-2 more like him.

Rosted is one of the players I thought was really going to make a difference for us last year - he's delivering a year late, but he was fairly solid today too.

We also tied last year's entire point total tonight, I believe.

    Dominant, dominant performance. Damn.

Apparently, Herdman had Osorio give the pre-game talk. I imagine the words "vicious beat-down without remorse" were in there somewhere, 'cos DAMN...

Gomis was quality today. Rosted too for the most part. Petretta got burned a few times getting caught high as he's not fleet of foot.

Generally though we didn't lose focus until it was already out of reach. Longstaff, Bernardeschi, Insigne, Owusu, Flores, Spicer all fucking excellent today.

I am starting to believe that we can start looking a little bit somewhere else - Owusu really pulled apart that defense and gave both the Italians the space they needed to really operate.

Should've given Staniland a debut since it was already 5-0 when we made our final subs

Shocked to see Owusu can hit 20 mph plus. Had the same top speed as Fede tonight.

He was amazing. Best Apple TV commentator I've heard so far.

Does anyone believe this turn around would be happening if Michael Bradley were still here.
