bernardeschi again 5-0 59'
bernardeschi again 5-0 59'
64' kerr thompson in for owusu longstaff
This is some good stuff. Have been waiting for us to put a beating on a team like this for the past 3 years
Who's the captain?
ibrahim scores 5-1 67'
frustrating - mostly for SJ
69' corbo zouhir in for waterman choiniere
Biggest beat down we've done since Insigne and Bernas first game.
even in the 82nd minute they're playing hard and pressing, fuck I love this team
Chapman knew exactly what that meant.... he is such an ass
That was fun.
final score 5-1
We outscored the Jays 5-4 today!
One nagging problem....
Our backline are all sub par for a club hoping to win a title
On every wide cross deep in our end all three of them let their men go and ball watch - EVERY TIME!
And any opposition ball leading a fast runner up the middle is an automatic breakaway
Loyal - Win, lose or draw!

You can't overstate enough the job Herdman has done. Are we even a year removed from the athletic article and vape gate? He inherited that and turned it into one of the most unified looking locker rooms we've had from the looks of it. Everyone bought in and playing for the team
5-1 flattered Montreal
Rosted with the fck Montreal shirt on and both Berne and Insigne doing the drum.
We are sooo back as a Toronto team
We also tied last year's entire point total tonight, I believe.
Dominant, dominant performance. Damn.
Apparently, Herdman had Osorio give the pre-game talk. I imagine the words "vicious beat-down without remorse" were in there somewhere, 'cos DAMN...
BTW - The play by play man on Apple TV tonight Callum Williams - is by far the best I have ever heard
He can make any game sound like the Super Bowl
Loyal - Win, lose or draw!

Gomis was quality today. Rosted too for the most part. Petretta got burned a few times getting caught high as he's not fleet of foot.
Generally though we didn't lose focus until it was already out of reach. Longstaff, Bernardeschi, Insigne, Owusu, Flores, Spicer all fucking excellent today.
I am starting to believe that we can start looking a little bit somewhere else - Owusu really pulled apart that defense and gave both the Italians the space they needed to really operate.
Cincinnati will be much tougher but.... for one night....
Should've given Staniland a debut since it was already 5-0 when we made our final subs
They came out flying tonight and ready to play. 3 goals in the first 18 mins… wow!! The stadium was loud and fun!
Shocked to see Owusu can hit 20 mph plus. Had the same top speed as Fede tonight.
Does anyone believe this turn around would be happening if Michael Bradley were still here.
