SJ, Ritchie and John officially out

Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
Looks like MLS doesn't follow any of these concepts with suspensions as they specifically released a statement saying that Richie is suspended for tonight's match and then be reassessed afterwards. I think in his case it's more about the money aspect and more likely than not, the fine they'll drop on him.
Be interesting to see who is the acting manager and who the short term loans will be.
Richie's red card is amusing.
We need to make sure injured players are regularly on the bench to punch out opponents as necessary.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Based on TFC Social Media in their match day photos - Mailula was in it. Looks like he is starting.
Nashville is possibly getting back both Shaq Moore and Zimmerman. We're probably toast.
Oso out with a thigh injury.
We should call up Staniland, Ayari and Sharp, get them all playing time. Just from a couple of games viewed they all look generally better than MLSNextPro already.
Based on the promos, expecting Insigne to sit at the beginning, Etienne to start as the left-side forward, Mailula on the right, Kerr in the middle. Or, as Etienne is two-footed, maybe he starts on the right and Mailula left, so Mailula's on his stronger foot.
He may be giving Thompson a start in defence, which still makes me deeply nervous. I think we're going to see Thompson-Rosted-Petretta.
So, probably a starting lineup:
------------Gavran------------
--Thompson--Rosted--Petretta
Franklin--Longstaff--Coello--Spicer
--------Mailula/Et----Etienne/Mal---------
---------------Kerr--------------
Lots of weight on Spicer's shoulders if we're getting anything out of this. I imagine we bunker and counter all game.

Inforced rest may not be a bad thing in the long term.
This is looking like a tough 90 minutes but a better test of some people then the cup matches have been.
Possible lineup
------------Gavran------------
--Rosted--Mabika--Petretta
Franklin--Longstaff--Flores--Spicer
--------Etienne----Insigne---------
---------------Kerr--------------
Thin bench either way
Ranjitsingh Gomis Pearlman Coello Thompson Mailula
Going in this one with 17 players unless short term agreements are signed
I think Gomis definitely starts if he’s available. I would keep Petretta on at the start and sub Spicer on for the second half as a boost.
you gotta rest gomis at some point though even though hes only 22...hes played 5 straight 90s in the league and two shorter appearances in cup...and on paper you wanna have mabika dealing with the aerial threat of 6'3 surridge
Charlie central. Sharp and Staniland get the call.

fourth agreement for batiz so hes done with the first team unless he signs a first team contract
sure about that? in that case he can have two more as there was another agreement that was for the game against simcoe...heres what mls rules say...makes it sound like its max 4 contracts of 4 days max in which the player can appear in a max of 2 mls games and any number of non league games...batiz has now signed four of these short term agreements
A club may sign a player, age 25 or younger during the league season, from its affiliate (MLS NEXT Pro) to a maximum of four Short-Term Agreements (up to four-day contracts) each season (maximum of 16 days).
An individual player may be included on up to four MLS league season match rosters each season, however, that player may appear in no more than two MLS league season matches. An individual player may appear in any number of non-league games during the terms of his four Short-Term Agreements.
good...so we're on the same page then...4 short term contracts in which you can play a max of 2 mls games and any number of non league games
Really surprised to see Franklin left out for Thompson. But, then again, Kosi seems to be every managers all time favorite.
In case you were wondering who the captain was going to be....its Petretta.
Also, Spicer, Kerr and Etienne playing as the front 3 is perfect to attack them on the counter. Definitely would of preferred Flores to Coello in this kind of game though.
That midfield has a lot of yikes about it.
