Yeh, Cash ain't our forward option right now - a free header from 3 yards out and it goes wide - and he's already had a few passes go short - and takes 1 too many touches every time.
Just can’t see him being up to the level any time soon. Really puzzling signing.

boughanmi their cm is better than some tfc players...played in a bunch of countries including the first tier of tunisia...bossing the midfield and has good set piece delivery...if they had even only three players of his quality tfc would be in big trouble right now

We sure do try that centre half knock back off corners a lot.

    Tough field, scrappy team.

Looks like half the crowd were told it was a 7:30 kickoff

    **********

You can see the guys waiting for the ball to come to them that extra half second...its a little like playing on a turf without as many injuries.

I like Gomis a lot, but he is in no way a LWB. We are really missing Spicer out on that lefthand side.

the stadium at this time doesnt look well equiped to let in thousands of ppl in a small period as it looks like it just has one or two small entry points

It's hard to think cash has a future on this team. He has put a lot of bad passes and is really slow to keep the ball moving forward. Too many touches.

Anyway this is a pretty scrappy sloppy game so far.

I'd personally use Etienne as a wingback against a semi-pro team.

Cash gets muscled off the ball easily even by these defenders... Mabika is a monster out there.

Rosted looks decent - like he's played on this sort of pitch often.

Leagues Cup >>> Canadian Championship. I don't gotta see Gareth Wheeler during that competition.

I find it amusing that the OneSoccer announcers were blowing their wad over that. Now we get to listen to Wheeler gush.

We're playing pretty poorly, moving the ball slowly, taking extra touches. I'd agree with OG that they look like they don't want to break an ankle out there.

Wheeler makes a cogent point (shock, horror): it's much easier to sit in a low block on a tiny pitch.

Yea they dominated buts it's been sloppy and scrappy. Some of TFC passes are off as this is not a professional pitch in anyway.

Chances are tickets are being torn manually as well, or bought with debit at the point.

They made this mistake for a game with Brazil years ago in Edmonton and they ended up with half the crowd not getting in until eh second half, as there was nearly 50,000 walkup. I'd like to think the ASA and CSA learned from that one.

Nah....the guy is just sitting in front of Cash waiting for him to get the ball and then wait for the inevitable error - I don't see him pulling any strings moving forward. He's a decent DM for that league but the low block and cow patch on a small pitch is more of a factor.

Oso isn't playing great but that's more everybody he is around can't weight a ball properly. Oso is finding spaces but Coello & Cash & Longstaff ain't able to think quick enough for what needs to occur in these surroundings

There is only one player who hasn't improved under Herdman. His name is DeAndre Kerr.

Their front 3 is quite good for this level - I think they have patterns that would get found out and on a fast pitch, I suspect they'd be starved of service.

Ettiene Jr. on the way it looks like
