Mabika sighting!
Mabika sighting!
They’re so disjointed this game. There is zero flow.
At the same time NER is a terrible team right now too and we have to be winning these games at home.
right place, right time, Owusu with four now
King Owusu!
What a finish too.
Wow, what a finish!
Pretty strange goal. I'll take it.
rutty to owusu 1-0
super goal by owusu one of the goals of the year so far
JMR will do well in the Championship with Sheffield United in August.
A penalty? Been years since we had one of those.
pleeeeeease let berna get this penalty and get the monkey off his back
Per Herdman's presser this week, Berna is the designated penalty taker.
Ugh..
This guy is just totally snake-bitten.
That was a really good save to be fair
This game has been entertaining at least. Pretty back and forth.
That Spalding guy on NE is one of the worst players I have seen in a long time in MLS.
Let's go, boys! That isn't a game we even get a point from the last 3 years.
Gritty win. This ref is awful, no more assignments for him please.
we are so back (refrain)
yes, NER is awful right now. but we can only play who's in front of us and we looked remarkably team-like today.
tfc takes it 1-0
Man I feel for Berna.
Owusu got the monkey off his back and now the goals are flying in.
I really hope Berna gets it but I'm sure he will take the team winning over the goals.
Yeah, he was terrifying. He gives them two sorties into our end past five minutes, even though the only delays in injury time have come from New England. Fucking bullshit, that.
Great goal from Owusu, back heeling it in mid air. Can't wait for the MLSsoccer.com crew to claim that wasn't deliberate.
Defense really played well, stepped up. New England didn't have much, though. You can see a big part of their problem is that Gil's speed is gone, so he can't really wriggle past defenders anymore (although he blew off Osorio a couple of times; Oso looks great these days in the offensive end and a non-entity defensively.).
And we've just matched last season's win count by April 26.
