Yes except colder.
Yes except colder.
Twellman points out in the weekly review video that this is the first time TFC has ever started the season with two shutouts.
Abada would likely replace Tavares … nice goal here from him against Van (go to 24 seconds)

Oh look...a weather statement
4:18 PM EST Thursday 7 March 2024
Significant rainfall is possible late Friday through Saturday. Hazard: Rain. Total rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm with higher amounts possible. Timing: Late Friday through Saturday. Discussion: A low pressure system will bring widespread rain across southern Ontario this weekend. Periods of rain will begin over southwestern Ontario late Friday and progress eastward overnight. At this point, there is still uncertainty regarding rainfall amounts.
That stadium will be the home of San Diego FC next season.
No Richie tomorrow.

from what i can see that injury list is dated march 1 .another site says questionable, but who knows doesnt sound like he is playing
Weather basically indicates a light drizzle all day....a bit of wind from the south. Has been a lot worse for opening day.
Rumour Long and Petretta are now questionable.
Long was mentioned as that by Herdman today - turf monster niggles.

Was down at training today , Long did not train today, he was only on the field on the side for a bit with the medical staff before heading into the lockeroom early on, Petretta also did not train. I think it is unlikely see see Long, guess we shall see.
I fully expect to see Matty Longstaff tomorrow crack the lineup.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
For those attending via Liberty Village or coming in via Go Westbound, a rainy day, pre-match, treat…

Bring back 7:30 start times. Those work best for me and I am a selfish man.
So it begins once again the merry go round of injuries just like last season . Yes we were bad last season but as bad as we want to blame coaching , Manning and the Italians a big part of it had to do with the constant injuries of mainly our starting players , if we go through this again this year again with injury after injury don’t expect much from this team again unfortunately.
Clouds are actually clearing over the lake. 9C out. Could end up being decent. I've definitely been to far worse condition games.
Disappointing that we can't dress our best starting eleven, but hopefully the boys will keep the positive momentum going today.
If Long and Petretta are both out, who do we think takes their spots? Rosted and JMR? Wouldn't mind seeing Spicer (if fit) getting a spot on the bench.
Bridge is indeed open. Looks like MLSE is having parties for SSH at both Brazen Head and Left Field. Went to Left Field - good menu and atmosphere. Talked to the owner Mandie, we should consider this place.
