Interesting match.
I would say only 2 things:
1. If TFC will not win this one, I see zero chances to make the playoffs. Yes, not even a draw will do anything IMO.
2. I'm a bettor, but I would not touch this game with a pole! This is valid both for betting on sides or on the goal total bets.
Betting on this one is like throwing darts while blindfolded, because for me anything can happen: it can be a blowout by Chicago or a TFC win by 1 goal, at the same time can be a 1-0 win for a side, or something like 2-2 or 3-2.
I mean TFC is due big time to score at least a goal, right? We can't go forever without scoring...
PS: TFC has 0.783 goals scored per match in all 23 MLS matches until now, and 1 goal in the last 5 - this is shocking!.

Probably the most excited I have been for a match in 3 months. Really looking forward to seeing our new look midfield with no MAK. I think we might even score a goal.
I think he might. Even though Terry has simplified what they're doing, it's still based on support positions and tendencies ingrained under Bob over last two years, and Blessing used that offensive set for four years in LAFC. He's not going to need much time to adjust.
I felt badly for him watching the video, as he clearly wanted success in his home town. He was doing a lot of community work here, too.
But having said that, I think he made so many mistakes in possession and in short passing that he was probably demoralizing to play with. The number of times he cheated up to the center line to support offensive possession and then blew that possession must've been driving them crazy.
Some fan keeps point out that he led the league in tackles but what they don't point out is that most of those were trying to recover balls he'd lost.
But Amir pointed out this the other day, which is slightly more relevant to our problems:

have a feeling this one will be real real real low scoring lol. Like 0-0 levels of low scoring. If Ibarra can give our D some breathing room, SJ Back. No striker and only Insigne with Kerr and maybe Oso will leave us without a lot of chances on net again lol. Maybe terry gives that young lad a runout up top that's been getting substitute appearances... Batiz who's got some wheels and desire to make runs.
This game is gonna be won or lost on a set piece lol - that's my prediction, tie all the way

Another 4-4-2. Hedges and Mabika are both healthy enough for the bench. Not sure Dunfield is the guy.
Mabika might have a slight knock but that looks like a test match for those 2 starting.
Midfield should be interesting.
This may not be a sentiment anyone else shares, but I thought Mabika was problematically out of position several times in the last game. He wasn't as sharp.
Don't know if it's that or just that he didn't practice as well this week, but I think starting day in and out hasn't been great for his game.
No Insigne? He apparently passed a muscle scan over a week ago. I dunno, starting to wonder if he's done.
No Insigne lol what a farce and a total waist of money probably go down as the worst DP signing in MLS history when this is done .

lets hope they are holding him back because of a move.this season cant end soon enough
they are already censoring terry at his pressers maybe the mastermind manning is pulling the strings
Will we ever get a proper pregame again with Apple TV? God forbid.
Currently our deepest position is CM. Remember the last time that was the case? We started a midfield diamond with Vazquez, Osorio, Delgado and Bradley.
Anyways, enough whinging about the lineup. We need a result.
Hmm...an actual formation graphic

osorio at cm in a two cm formation is usually bad news defensively
Interesting little bit on that one sequence where Chicago took the ball to the line - the wide shot showed both Kerr & JMR ball watching way back out of the 18.
Oso can do a job as part of a double pivot. I believe Ibarra is the first legit 6 he has played with. His partnership with Delgado was so great based on both of theirs workrate and half a decade of playing together. I don't believe the 4-4-2 is the right formation for us though.
Good God. He's just got nothing left.
No Ayo, you actually did hit that shot that far wide...
CJ Sapong is where the attack goes to die.
