look if this is our 'when we're at full squad, we're going to make a run at Leagues Cup' squad, I'm here for it to be honest. Give it to me. If this saves our season, still Manning Out, mind you. But Jason's earned a shot.

While I think it’s a great add and strengthens the team in an area of need, we need someone that helps us put the ball in the net. I think that’s when it starts to get slightly interesting.
Right now, we’re just going to be looking for silver linings in a sea of crap.
Unless we can deal Ayo, this deal probably makes Ibarra our 2nd U-22 player which likely means Osorio remains our 3rd DP for the rest of the season. Gotta think if we are going the 3rd u-22 player route, it will be a striker.
There are a few strikers out there we can afford if they want to shell the bucks, under the cap.
We've been carrying Richie's TAM-level salary, suggesting if he's gone we have about a million dollars left. There are free agents who have good scoring records who would come for likely less than that.
This dude is on a free right now after an off year in Belgium, but at 28 has a career scoring record in Austria and Belgium of a goal every 157 minutes. He's got six goals for the Bosnian national team. Seems worth a look. Could be just an off year on a bad team. That's what his numbers suggest, but someone who knows him might no more.

Here is my within our budget (probably) short term suggestion at striker: Leo Campana.
Just wait for Miami to fire-sale assets to bring in all of Messi’s friends. They’ll dump some good part for very cheap.
They're rumored to be signing at least seven DPs at this point, by my count.
I think most are just rumors.
They do have a U22 DP spot open still, though. Teams can have three, so maybe that's how.
I believe the $1.6M DP cap thing is no longer in place. I looked at this season's rules and it just says teams can have three u22 players who can be designated, period. But the official site has left stuff out of the rules before, so I don't know if that's actually the case.
Ibarra would be a great pick up. Pray there is a purchase option somewhere like we did for Schaff.
who is reporting the ibarra move.have not seen it on main media yet what are we giving up.is he a intl or does he have green card

I'm afraid to get excited about this. Glad to be linked to Ibarra as that makes a ton of sense, but until it's made official, we have not improved at all.
A reporter out of Atlanta journal paper and picked up by athletic but the athletic doesn't name Toronto like the reporter does.
It does seem odd that Atlanta would deal him to us of all places. They must not see us as an immediate threat to them in the standing.
Just saw we are 13 points behind them and they are only 7th. Hahaha.

Cool. Our second Argentinian 6. And from Juniors, no less.
Jason has a hell of a lot of work/manoeuvring to do but alone that million + if Richie doesn’t return should get us a very good striker.
Ibarra to TFC complete as per ATL reporter. Unclear if just for this season or not.
