A couple of his scouting reports leap off the page to me.

Defensively, he's quite good at blocking and looks like he's competent at the other skills.
And offensively, he seems to be quite solid.
This is the kind of move Montreal made that paid out big time for them. Acquiring younger MLS players who maybe lost a bit of their shine and need a change of scenery.
Glad we finally added another midfielder. Took til the final hour, but they got it done. I was hopeful for Jimenez this season with a full offseason behind him and was hoping Vázquez could unlock him like Pozuelo. But he never did seem to mesh with the Italians, so maybe he just needed a new situation. We were pilling up a bit of a glut at the single striker spot, so this helps alleviate that and JJ probably had more trade value than AA.
Trading the international spot hurts a bit (since Jimenez was using the exempt international slot). Depending on whether VV is emempt or not, we may have no more international slots now (since we traded two of our regular slots and have six internationals).
Don't know too much about who we acquired, but given Dallas has a good history with youth development and he's a homegrown, hopefully he can be a huge addition for us.
I suspect BB had a side chat with Hedges for reference about Servania and his character?
I wonder if he starts for us. Kaye looked really bad against LA...
Yeh, those stats look very Delgado like - the tackle stats indicate he needs support & can't be a #6 on his own.
So a shuttler.
I'm ok with this but he ain't gonna be a sub for MB.
Happy with that.
Bring on some U22 rumors
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
I think Toronto FC overpaid on an unproven player, hopefully Servania is alright but fearful hes just another flop of a trade similiar to MAK, on top we decided to give up an international spot and are maintaining salary relief on Jesus Jimenez, seems like this trade is very oneside unfortunately not towards Toronto FC, FC Dallas won the trade

Apart from the ensuing competition to sign as a result of several other MLS clubs mentioned interest, maybe the following- ongoing- added some complexity, concern and uncertainty to to the matter or any attempt by TFC to address their midfield with him and they just decided best to move on.

I never considered Delgado a DM. Until shown otherwise, the new guy isn't one to me.
Happy for the depth & the relative speed & the willingness to block. Good addition, at a cost.
apparently TFC were interested in him last season.but couldnt make it happen,so probs did the kaye trade instead
In 2020 Mark and Oso did a great job combining to fill in for MB4 while he was out injured. Could see Servania and Oso combining to cover Bradley's responsibilities with VV playing more advanced. Plus, Insigne and Berna are both relatively committed to getting back and helping on defence, which means we don't need a pure destroyer DM and can rely a bit more on an overall team defence.
Play Berna in a Giovinco striker role.
Servania seems as though he fits the overall plan (ie. roster harmony within B. Bradley’s idea of football) and which a 6 month loan of O’Brian didn’t seem to fit.
Sorry to see JJ go but he was poor with the Italians last year and I think he should do well in Dallas. Hopefully we aren’t paying too much of his salary (though I could see that being the case).
Midfield depth was the last glaring need we had so glad this got done even though I think we're going to miss JJ in the short-term and a lot depends how much of his salary we're paying
Has to be said that our depth is still pretty bad overall. Once you get past the starting 11 and Oneill/Servania/Vazquez, we're unproven or below the average standard across the league
Yes, I realize Delgado wanted to leave. But still... a little kernel of truth and another example of football's circle of life.

1. delgado asked to be traded to go back to cali, wasn't "sold to make way for young uns".2. they didn't toss anyone overboard, they put them in appropriate supporting roles that they would have been in from the beginning if we hadnt been in need of a full squad teardown.3. servania is similar to delgado in lots of ways, but also on almost 300k less per season.
