Singh saying there's 'advanced talks' with FB - I'm not opposed if it's RB as anticipated but as an offensive cog I'd be concerned.

Couple trades
Guesses MAK comes
dang - Poz is still one of my favourite TFC players but if it is what it is...
Poz does follow Miami on instagram
Poz has recently followed two Miami real estate agent accounts. He was also in Miami on Sunday… hmm. He’s also following a Miami Bentley dealership.

Have it say I’m inclined to not follow Michael Singh’s reporting and wait until others break the story
If it's Miami you want Yedlin in return at the very least.
IMO Singh is tier 1 now for TFC. He alluded to interest in Holiett and Laryea but never went all in. I have no doubt Holiett was the back up plan for Bernardeschi if they weren’t able to move a DP. They obviously also looked at what can be done to get Laryea back but it would cost too much and they made the right call. Doesn’t mean Singh was wrong.
I feel like he gets a lot of stick in here but I think his track record is solid and better than most.
Singh is also one of the only TFC reporters who throws out rumors. Molinaro and Davidson toe the party line until things are officially announced and then drop their own stories seconds after. Wheeler knows some stuff but never puts out names and then goes "see - I was right". I wish the state of our media team was better so we could actually get some news on targets.

From the TFC social media manager...
This is going to be a real make or break window for us. The line up of players we've moved on since BB arrived is starting to look a hell of alot stronger than the line up we have, but I'll remain open minded until I see whose coming in. If these rumours are true, though, they better have some big moves lined up
I just like having fun and discussing rumors. I know that isn't for everyone, but this board truly gets pumping when we got some big names coming and going in a transfer window.
Quick random guess: in the first window Colorado asked about Higuain according to rumors at that time. I remember because it made me laugh. Now I could see Maimi refusing as Colorado has nothing they would want and it looks bad to swap Higuain for a nobody and Colorado likes to keep their GAM.
Now if we were to swap Pozuelo for Higuain and then Higuain for MAK then that would work out. The only ones on paper losing would be us as we would be swapping a former MVP DP for MAK and we'd be okay with that. Pozuelo and Campagna might work out okay in Miami too.
Agreed, I also like to see what really happens. Truly hope it worked out for Junior and he leveraged TFC to getting himself a better deal at Reading, who by the way looked thrilled to have him back. Canada needs him in form and healthy for Qatar. We can always get Junior next summer...LOL
I am not sure who in our league DP or otherwise could go to Juve and do the job that FB did. Is there a single player who could go in and play those minutes? Consistently earning them against the quality of players Juve has available?
If he can play at a higher level and do things no (few) players in our league can do, why wouldn't he be worth a DP slot?
We know that there is a goal tax added to players dropping down, how big it is, depends truly on the heart. If a player wants to play down a level they should definitely succeed. I would be willing to wait and see if FB would be a worthwhile DP, I would not write him off completely based on his Juve performance.
If Gareth Bale had any interest in staying in Europe he would have stayed there. My guess is he is only interested in maintaining fitness until the WC.
Would it not be something if who is incoming is CR7?
Hmmm, missed training again for 'family reasons'.
Seems that excuse is making the rounds?
This is not and has never been the point for most people on this board who are opposed to signing FB (myself included).
It’s that we have limited DP spots and a defensively solid winger with limited offensive output isn’t as valuable to a MLS team in a DP spot as someone who regularly fills up offensive stats or controls the middle of the field.
The secondary point of those arguing for it seems to be if we don’t sign him we’ll just settle for some no-name bum. I don’t see how that’d be the case given some of the other names already floated and that we just locked up LI.

Hmmm.... Singh is really hyping it up.
0.55 goal involvements per 90 is not double 0.47... neither is 0.57 vs. 0.39 just looking at league level and removing CL/EL/NT.
Looking at top RWs by market value in Serie A, "NEVER, in his entire career, produced significant offensive statistics" & "HE PRODUCES NOTHING OFFENSIVELY" come across as slightly hyperbolic.
I would love it if every DP we signed was a top 5 producer in a top 5 league but I don't think it's a realistic expectation.

I'll be extremely sad if Poz leaves.
