I think neither Messi nor Ronaldo will come to MLS.
Life is too comfortable for them somewhere in Europe & they don't need the $ MLS would offer.

I'd just like to point out that Miami is the 6th most important city in the world for Ultra-High-Net-Worth-Individuals (UHNWIs - aka the 0.002%), just behind London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai. 'Important' to them means lifestyle choices and things to do, so I wouldn't be surprised if either of them don't at least consider it.
I’m surprised to see that Charlotte already fired their head coach, especially considering they are just outside a playoff spot. Another shit FO maybe?
This happened April 11

Allegedly an 18 month TAM deal.

^this just hurts the league. I mean I love to see him, but that was 5 years ago in Italy
Yeah, the league site mlssoccer.com is reporting it as well, although they’re also citing the public reports, not a confirm from the club. Maybe it’s a player coach role?
This league is so pinball-like compared to the tactical discipline in Europe, I can see a guy his age getting really badly beaten when isolated, if he can even stay healthy. Remember how quickly Danny D went down hill, and he blamed the travel as a big part of it.
Chiellini did not look good in the game vs. Argentina on Wednesday...
I dont get this one…
If you have a very stable and competent back line, a guy like this probably makes it more stable and more competent. Plus, major leadership.
But the risk is considerable. Teams are going to start setting up a drop-back counter with a low line of engagement, so that LAFC has a high back line. If anyone manages that, I’ll be impressed if a 37-year-old doesn’t look extremely 37ish.
Deila is gone from NYCFC. Released to take Standard Liege gig.
Are standard now part of the City Group?
Standard paid a release clause - NYC didn't figure out how to keep him.
Deila is the sort of manager MLS teams should be looking for - a guy down on his luck after experiences with top leagues in B level countries like Scotland or Belgium who is looking for another option. Doesn't always work out (see DeBoer) but that level can get teams places. Deila took an underachieving team & made them champs in a grinding cup event. That's a skill set teams should be finding for their managers.
As someone who is 25% German, this would make me so sad.

Another big time signing coming to MLS. A 23 year old coming from England is a big deal.

Sometimes, just every once in a while, during a media interaction, I'd like a peekaboo into BBradley's make-up...
A little cheeky push back, some Yogi Berra 'isms'... a la Gattuso's recent sono un gattino o leone?

Cucho will be great in MLS IMO.
I think his profile. Guys that have had a few years in Europe as opposed to plucking the Barco, Soteltdo and Almada types is the way to go if you're gonna splash big fees
Wow Cucho is official. I agree with Areathrasher, that's a significant signing. He should do well in MLS.

Translation: Tigres is analysing the offers by Yeferson Soteldo, he is based on his indisciplines and his null commitment to make pre-time with the team. We'll see what's going on with the future
My fake translation: somebody likes to party
So... Who wants Laryea back on loan?

Though the DP tag is still a hefty one, and he does come off as quite social too, Salcedo still gives me a better impression when it comes to commitment and team spirit. Glad we offloaded Yefe.
