Coach GT, nice post.

I find it hard to believe that we are talking about a salary cap issue and nobody has mentioned our 330k a year defensive mid.

Am I the only that thinks that the money could be better spent, and the position played by someone else?

How does it make sense to make a guy the 14th highest paid player in the league at that position?

Anyways. I'd like to see a little more of Roselund this year to see if he could be an everyday player next year.
Hah! I love how everyone (myself included) skips ahead....I just finished advocating for an entirely new midfield, including dropping Robbo, not because he's not a good DM but because this really does seem to be a two-way league. Defensive "specialists" pretty much have to be in the back line.

Again, it's very hard to come up with a "winning" idea for a lineup give that we don't really know what's going on behind the scenes. I refuse to believe there aren't other issues with the level of these performances.

Maybe the turf issue with respect to training is much more serious than let on. Maybe these guys have dead legs by the end of every game from running on a cushion all week, which is why we keep giving up last minute goals and look entirely listless and never at full speed.

It could well be that that's why they want a GRASS practice facility, not a grass BMO. They keep the advantage over other teams of turf, but can point out that it won't have a significant physiological effect on the players, because they'll divide practise time with a more forgiving surface.
