Classy statement by Soteldo and some insight into what was happening with him. It must have been a very tough time for a young guy to try to acclimate to a new country.

Toronto FC baby...best team everrrrrrrrrr -Jozy
Interesting, you do not see this every day, former Red Brandon Aubrey four years removed from his last season of pro soccer has made the switch to American Football as a kicker. He was selected by the Birmingham Stations in the USFL draft earlier this week.

Another week with Richie Laryea not even making the bench at Nottingham Forest. That's looking like a poor move in the early going.
Jozy is a sub for tonight’s game..
Agree!
Please tell me he gets at least 200,000 Euros more this year than he was getting last season at Toronto, otherwise this move is even worst than poor...
At this point I am really worried that this move will have a very negative effect on Richie's performance in Canada's National team matches.
So LAG win their first...
Fielding for most of the match a quarter line-up of former TFC players or more peeps if you count the coach and not the fans as the twelfth man.
Edwards, Delgado, Vazquez and Vanney... C'mon! WTF?
More than a third if Zavaleta should ever join them on the pitch... Gulp? FFS!
Guess who scored a goal in his debut. Erickson Gallardo.
Jozy has played every game and scored against RSL.
Erickson Gallardo
3 games, 4 goals in the Venezuela top tier. He has 4 of his team's 6 goals.
For whatever reason it never worked here, but clearly there's talent there
Jordan Hamilton is playing for Sligo. Had not seen that posted. Set up a goal yesterday.
Dwyer on in the 64’ and sent off at 67’. The universe is correcting itself after his uncharacteristic goal to open the season.

Giovinco not doing well in Sampdoria. Injury and not much game time off the bench
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Yeah, I saw that the other day. A good reminder of how special that 2017 team was that we got a DP player for TAM money.
Looks like Armas' time is done in Manchester

The Reds lost one of their own this past weekend. Former TFC goalkeeper Freddy Hall died after a car accident this past Sunday in his native Bermuda. Freddy played 10 total games for the Reds in 2012 and will forever be remembered for crossing paths with a black cat one match. RIP Freddy ) :
