Axel Schuster says that Crepeau and his agent told him that he has a very special personal situation that would make it very difficult for him to play for Vancouver again. Weird stuff.
Pretty simple...dos santos goes back to lafc and they get in touch...hes the one who gave him a real shot at being a #1 in mls...dos santos gets a strong keeper and gets back at schuster for removing him
In the end, soccer is a human emotion

As polite as Crepeau is being about this, it sounds like he has a wife or fiancee who is in California and can't be in Canada, or something similar. One of the comments was that he can't even say how he can stay in Canada, let alone in Vancouver. So it sounds like someone close to him has relocated or is living in the States.
According to some quick internet sleuthing, seems his wife is also Canadian and from Montreal. She used to do accounting for the Impact.
Any chance he hasn't been vaccinated so would have to quarantine on crossing the border? I tried googling and couldn't find anything on his vax status
Blast from the past: Terrence Boyd is apparently going to Kaiserslautern.
(He's been in the German Third Div since leaving us and has scored fairly regularly.)

Inter-Miami are trying to sign DeAndre Yedlin as a DP or TAM player, apparently.
They have learned nothing. The dude was one of the quicker backs in MLS when he left but that was a while ago. He was never that solid as a defender. I'm sure he'd do fine at this level again but they'll overpay for him.
Arrioala to Dallas for big bucks

The repudiation of the "Atlanta's approach is the way of the future" is now complete

There are powerbrokers in MLS who have spun a number of rules around the myth of "we buy young & sell them on". Dallas is the only team to do so successfully & their fanbase is dying & their team hasn't been competitive in the league in years.
IMHO, the answer to what MLS needs to succeed remains the same - spend more money on ALL non-DP players with a base floor salary 3x what it currently is so the quality of play goes up. Make it attractive to play in MLS for all players from all countries. This will attract more people & more eyeballs.
The fact we are discussing whether a CB should ever be a DP is just mindblowing. I'm not against the cap because it is a good idea - but the VCWC & Dallas' of this league have way too much sway, based on myths of what it takes to be successful.
If real, will be pretty big..

Yeah. That is just about obtaining some additional GAM. I seriously doubt Trusty ever plays for Arsenal.

The CB as DP is officially a trend:

Citeh Group rotating players around their farm teams...again.
Xherdan Shaqiri joins the Chicago Fire as a DP
