Still can't believe Montreal is in a playoff spot and we are in last. Wilfried Nancy deserves an award for the work he has done.
Can we at least play a decent game and beat Montreal please....that is all.
The season may have been a write off but having the opportunity to spoil Montreal’s day this weekend makes up for it. It’s the little things folks that make for a great night
The season up until this point has to go out the window for 90 minutes tomorrow. Forget the disappointment up until now and just go out there full of confidence, be brace and fight for everything. A derby game is always a must win. We have to get the stadium rocking and get behind the lads.
Side note, any ideas if Montreal have an away allocation and if so how many?
Gonna say this
I care more about the likely next game against Foot Club then this one.
Soteldo is out tomorrow per Perez.
Interesting.......almost 4:00 here on a derby game day, and no posts today so far for this game thread, except for this one I just posted lol!
^exactly. I feel this is so much worse than 2012. It’s embarrassing and Ali isn’t gone yet.
I looked at the line up a handful of times and still have no idea what's going on.
One CB? Bradley at CB? Okello at CB? Very sketchy 3-5-2?
No idea what formation we are playing. One with a ton of midfielders, I guess.
I would guess it is either Auro at CB or Bradley. They wouldn't just throw Okello in at CB out of nowhere.
Bradley as CB apparently - 3 goals for Club Foot I suspect.
Will be interesting to see how Okello does between Osorio & Delgado.
Did I miss that something happened to Soltedo? Presumably an injury that had him coming out early last game - I hadn't realised it was that serious.
TSN finally able to get around to focusing on an MLS team that can make the playoffs.
Moving Bradley to centre back will probably end up being a worse idea than re-signing Gonzalez. He couldn’t do it in 2018 I don’t know why it’s being tried again.
JMR & Okello playing timid - very few forward passes even when an open wing is there to move towards.
JMR not looking out of place at all. Midfield looks fairly dynamic now that everything doesn’t have to be filter led through MB. Positive signs.
Delgado is basically playing a free roaming role.
Caldwell - "Its been a lot of chopping & changing with the GK's this season"
This is Westberg's first game after 7 not in.
Shaff’s energy, pace and willingness to work gets him the ball in good offensive spots. His final touch and shot need work to be considered an offensive threat.
Okello not up to snuff. Timid passing, Omar level speed, and a Jozy-like lack of motion.
Passing it around the back is gonna cost us tonight. Figured this would happen with Bradley back there.
