Definitely more interested in watching now.
The Javier Perez era begins
Going to be like preseason. See what people can do, see if there is a bit of cohesion possible.
The result - hopefully not as bad as yesterday but it would not surprise me if they thump us with 3 of more.
This is not the team we get the new coach bump with. I'd love a draw. There will be goals.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
The Revs are good and our record says we are bad. A draw would be a good result. We need all the points we can get now.
I wonder how the call with Jozy went last night?
We sure could use another striker that is not Dwyer...
They are one of the best teams in MLS this year and we have a historically bad defence right now. With all the upheaval there is no way we win or even draw this. I expect 4 goals, but given the overall dysfunction and mental fragility of the defence, I could see another beatdown coming.
Our preparation for 2022 starts now.
Add to this that historically we have a very bad record on that crappy artificial turf... maybe the worst of all our away matches.
Even when TFC's play and form was at best from all possible angles, we were happy with a draw there!
So now even 1 point would be fantastic...
Realistically thinking, I guess we can get a point (or points?) there only if New England will have a very bad outing compared to their current standards.

This won't be a good test of our interim coach's abilities. It's going to take a while to retrain the team and practice effective tactics.
However if he moves to having Q between the pipes, that will be an immediate positive impression.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Auro-Zavaleta-Mavinga-Morrow (if available)- Lawrence (if still here)
Delgao Bradley Soteldo
Pozuelo Dwyer
This is MLS. 3-2 TFC
Yeah I’m worried Q’s finger isn’t quite healed yet.
Zavs red card means he is out
New England may come out thinking they win just for showing up given our recent record....and maybe they do but can be a dangerous gamble to come out with that attitude. We are not as bad as our record shows.
Looking forward to a more possession oriented game, and a lot more individual player responsibility on the field.
Play with an actual double pivot and help protect the backline.
Delgado was on the bench for the last game and a half, I would imagine he gets back on the field with the new man in charge
I have zero expectations for this game and I am note sure what to expect either, but since it is MLS 3-1 TFC
The Reds flew into New England on Tuesday, landing at Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA north of Boston, an airport with two runways. It's about a 35 minute drive south to the hotel and stadium. Then you know what, after the game tomorrow they are coming home !
