Dude, I'm telling you, I know they want to be cautious with him, but Peruzza scores a lot of highlight reel goals. He scores a lot of goals period. I mean, USL one isn't the biggest test, but he scorched teams there, he scored highlight reel goals in San Antonio on loan.
I know it's not ideal, but it Jozy and Ayo are out, he can bag some goals this year.
I wouldn't put them past playing Gallardo as a loan man up top sometimes, if he stays healthy. You could see one of the things they liked about him was the crazy acceleration.
Hopefully we get quite a few players back next week. Otherwise, we'll literally be putting out TFC2 next week. Although maybe it's not so bad. Looks like the Kids are alright.
Im very happy with the point in Leon . Now lets hope for the best next week
Was it me, or was it one of the better OneSoccer coverages and play by play so far?
Everybody was great ex Jozy and Gallardo. I forgive Jozy, but Gallardo has gotta go. He can’t cross, he's Andy Welsh. The own goal only happened because his ball to Altidore was so incredibly bad.

I am now a Mullinho fan for life. Grade A concacaf shithousery tonight from him
Zavaletta gets so much hate but we forget to remember both in the MLS winning 2017 run and the Champions League Final run he played in some key games and played well. Also Bono remember was the keeper in both those runs he didn’t have the best game but he seems to be always the keeper in a lot of our key wins and results .
I turned off the sound for the play by play.
But the pre/halftime/post game show was one of the best I've seen for TFC in years - with KJ not having to toe the TFC line, he was positive but got in that zinger about "get the DP". And, Oliver Platt is WAAAY better then Caldwell at analysis.
I missed the game but sounds like a gutsy performance from the boys. I'll take it.
As an aside, I saw a few comments, did Jozy really get hurt? Good lord lol
We have a history of CONCACAF experiences no other MLS team has, going back to 2009.
From Ashtone Morgan
thru
Osorio
thru
Jozy & Bradley & Omar with the USMNT
thru
that 2018 run.
This team knows how to CONCACAF.
Might all fall apart next week
BUT
Tonight
TONIGHT
Had fun supporting my team
God I needed that
I've been impressed by OneSoccer's studio shows from the beginning - Andi is a huge get for them, Platt is solid, and KJ would be a terrific addition. Match commentary is their biggest weakness, though hopefully they can help develop some better Canadian commentators (Adam Jenkins who did the U23's is solid, though by no means great). Plus tbh I've found Wheeler's commentary is more tolerable when he does TFC games for some reason
Yeah Oliver Platt is usually bang-on with his comments.
I’m curious what motivated the Okello sub at halftime. He was really showing some promise out there.

Gutted I missed this game, but watching the highlights I could tell it was intense and I couldn't wait to come read this thread.
Fantastic result.
Hopefully Poz will be back next week and we can bury them in Florida.
It was a big game, big effort - and you could tell they were happy. Played with a certain freedom too. Validated Armas for sure - although lots more chances to see whether he is the right guy, he certainly got the first game right. The first 20 minutes they were the better team, and then were tough to beat the rest of the way.
