God, I hope Piatti can get healthy. This team needs better wing play.

Tajouri-Shradi always seems like he hurts TFC.
If delgado leaned any further back on that shot lazyboy would sponsor him
I’d give Nelson 10 minutes at the end of this. Achara has run his socks off, not too much to lose.
Yeah, Nelson on for Achara and maybe Mullins for the final couple minutes.
Yeah! They earned that bounce!
Now keep the pressure on! Don't sit back.
Thankfully Vanney only plays experienced players like Achara.
Good win. Could have had couple of more goals. Never really felt threatened by NYCFC.
100 wins for Vanney
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
Reminds me of Benjani.
For the love of God start Richie at right wing. Achara at left wing until Piatti is back. I expect Achara to play striker when Jozy is out as well.
Love it. New York is a top 3 team in the east and we just stifled them.
Nice debut from Achara, he improved as the game went along.
We didn't give up much tonight. What I'd give for healthy seasons from Gonzalez and Mavinga...
One thing in this game can not be taught - scoring.
Achara scores poacher goals.
Work in progress on the rest but....he figures how to score.
Gonzalez is the best CB in the league.
Wanna mention Osorio. I have never been a big fan, but the way he has played these last two games has really impressed me. He is a better all around player than I gave him credit for.
Pretty dominant performance today. The score flattered NYC.
Very impressive debut for Achara. He has maintained his form from pre-season.
Not a great game for Gallardo but we know a) he was recently injured, b) he's still adjusting to team play. Time will tell whether he's any good for sure, obviously has speed and was regarded as a decent player in Venezuela. Only question is whether he will be here.
Achara looked like he had been playing with Pozo and Jozy for years, hope he can stay fit cuz he looks like a player
Pitch looks great and a good turn out at BMO today. Was able to get in with a screenshot of my ticket, no problems.
I know everyone is hyped with Achara, but I couldn't help but noticed he has the same problems as Shaff. Passing and ball control needs work, but he has promise. I was actually happy with Gallardo and thought the team trusted going to him more than Achara for creating offense, and he was actually playing defense.
What delay? I didn't notice anything in the stadium. I didn't check the time at kick-off, but they looked on schedule for 5:07 pm at around 5 pm.
The crowd was better than usual at 5 pm - I think a lot of people came earlier, because it's the first match, or with concern about the new ticketing system. The westbound GO arriving at 4:20 pm was standing room only - more crowded than usual (though I'm usually on the later train).
There was no virtually line-ups at the gates at 4:25. Seemed to be going smoothly at the gate. What was it like closer to 5 pm? Perhaps not the cluster-ford I feared.
Achara's situational awareness is really good. It's like he has a sixth sense and knows exactly who is around him at any time. His back and forth exchange with Poz was fun to watch. Impressive debut.
Overall we looked composed out there.
Yeah, something about not wanting to risk the beer lines in this weather.
I'm sure he'll get better in time. Everyone starts somewhere.
I do want to give Gallardo the benefit of the doubt though. First real game in a while, so let's see in 5 or 10 hames where he is at.
Achara fluffed his first couple of passes. Guess nerves on his debut. Rest of the way was fine.
Second game in a row where we have looked excellent! Well done, guys! And a shout out to Marky who was our MOM.
Bring on Nashville!
