It wasn’t I saw a pic with altidore during mls media day of home wearing it. That 99% is the one it’s got the mls logo patch on both sides
Plus warm up shirts you can see in the training down south now on their social media
Here are a couple of releases from last week that were never posted here.
NYRB Away
RSL Away
I’ve seen the jerseys. The leaked picture is in fact the jersey for this year. Has a button, red stripes on red jersey. Can confirm the CN Tower on the Maple Leaf, not a patch but screen printed on. The MLS patches on both sleeves are stitched and not pressed on.
Also the silver stars on the replicas are very nice, you’ll see when they come out.
The authentics have a plain silver star.
So they change from gold to silver star ? Is gold only meant for most recent winners ?
Wasn’t the jersey suppose to be Released today? Also why is it that TFC feel the need to be the last club to release their jersey every year?
Or if you have won 5

*******
I often wonder if this league needs an "we are going to get more titles then them" approach like Alex Ferguson did.
AND IT IS RED
Cool red addidas shoulder stripes

Like last year's better. So plain
It’s been announced!
Meh A little underwhelming. Hoping for black shorts and black socks
please correct me if im wrong but is our new kit just a red shirt with nothing special on it, im confused why people would buy this new jersey
I like it! It's nice and simple, which is what I like my kits to be.
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
Big reveal for a plain red jersey. I'll wait until we release the next one (which hopefully will be designed by someone with an actual imagination).
Pretty meh...you would think after last season, they would try for something a little more exciting. Compare it to the Montreal or FC Cinci kits...it is definitely a matter of personal taste, but think they could have tried a little harder...

Dont think I'll be rushing out to purchase this one.
Apparently the new TFC jersey costs $150, how does that compare with past jerseys?
I paid that for a long sleeve at the stadium in early 2017 - with my member discount.
You can tell A LOT of people thought REALLY hard about this one. Thanks, everyone who helped put this together.
$149 for a football kit. Printing at the Stadium is $30, with taxes that’s $203 (without discount). No thanks.
There is so much potential when designing new kits.....but man, how can they even call it designing when it is so plain. Take a plain red Adidas training top, slap a few crests on it, done. Oh wait, they added a button and subtle collar to this red training top. Yay. Oh well, in the end I am hear for the game on the pitch and not a fashion show but still....
Torontofc store carry both a replica ($110 blank, $149 name + number)
and
authentic jersey ($150 blank, $180 name + number $5 less than real sports)
http://www.torontofcstore.ca/Toronto_FC_Jerseys?ab={wt-static_graphic}{pt-home}{al-A_spot}{ct-Jerseys}
also so a reminder they have last year authentic home jersey short or long sleeve customized name + number for $54
and I can confirm it does come with a star which isn’t showed on the webpage
Thanks for heads up brother. Just bought a 2017 authentic red Mavinga jersey. All in with shipping/taxes was $73 Canadian. Not bad at all. Needed to get a new jersey. My Marvell Wynne jersey from 2008, the number was starting to come apart. No chance I’d ever get the new one. So plain
It's the 2015 jersey with all the character removed.
I like the new jersey, but I will wait to see for the "slimfit" style actually clings to all the body contours. Some of us are actually "fan-shaped" rather than athletic shaped.
The 2015 Red jersey still feels good.
Did the kit designer leave the team as well??
