I hope it's not Johnson. Never liked him at all.
So most likely it's him.
Official. Man, that hurts.
KJ said in his prime so if true that's not Johnson
Didn’t someone mention an Oscar rumour a few days ago? Only 27 and was at one point banned for 8 games in China for inciting a fight so maybe he wants to leave. They paid what 50 or 60 million euros for him though so can’t really see it happening.

Boyd is a good replacement for Ricketts. Hopefully MLS doesn't pull a fast one like they did with Ciman and we don't have to use our allocation order slot on him.
Glad to hear we are already moving on a new DP and using our TAM.

"From a very good club"... Speculation anyone?
It’s a dark day for Toronto FC. Regardless of how it all went down.
That's annoying if TFC got low-balled like that.
With all these moves Vasquez gone and now Giovinco it just tells me that TFC can’t afford salaries like Giovinco’s and probably what Vasquez wanted . Bradley and Altidore will follow soon. TFC winning it all did nothing in terms of TFC’s popularity in Toronto. TV ratings did not increase , they had trouble filling 30000 seats at BMO last year I think the average attendance last year actually went down a bit, after the great season of 2017 BMO should have been sold out every game last year and it wasn’t , TV ratings should have gone up but they didn’t . TFC’s popularity stayed more or less the same so they have realized there is no big return on paying these players all that money, they will now spend what they can afford. That’s why a guy like Curtis was brought in to try and put a winning team together by spending half the money. They will only spend the money they can afford and that’s what they will do.
Okay so “big signing on the way”.... I will wait to see said signing.
Already said Boyd isn't eligible for allocation because never was in MLS and was a fringe USMNT player.
KJ: "TFC has a mandate to cut payroll. Seba could have been a great player in MLS for the next three years. i would have kept him."
This.
If management legitimately feels the current squad can't beat Tigres or Atlanta then tearing it down and rebuilding is perfectly acceptable and perhaps even logical given the median age of the club.
Getting over worked by the arabs on a minimal transfer fee is a bit of a joke though. Atlanta's management would have got 10 million.
They better sell Bradley and Altidore and go full rebuild and bring in younger pieces. Staying middle pack would be a bit ridiculous and very Shapiro/Blue Jays like.
I hope they tear it down.
Where are you now, Toronto needs you the most ! Very fitting.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
KJ and Wheeler: Don't judge until 2019.
Sorry guys, this is 2018
The Ciman trade makes little sense now. I have lost all confidence in this management group.

I like the Chicharito idea. It might work as a loan...
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Another bad taste in my mouth. This is the same organization that just turned a self centred, grossly over rated, and under performing hockey player, into a multi millionaire. Same board of directors. Same office.
