I'll wait and see if the guy's any good before I anoint him a starter. He's coming from a small, bottom-table Argentine club, so I don't expect him to step into a starting slot right away, if ever.
Toronto FC baby...best team everrrrrrrrrr -Jozy
Delgado; who I like btw, hasn't been great as of late. I wouldn't mind a different look, maybe in the San Jose game we can bring in Janson.
I'd also like to see Irwin get some more games. It's not like Irwin was ever bad for us... Bono was just playing well. And Bono's possession game is starting to get a bit frustrating. You can expect him to drop kick it out of play at least once a game

Poor game from Ashtone Morgan.
Really looked gassed a couple times in first half
I dont have a Love affair with Players like Morgan I think he is worse than 1 dimensional at best. Can't dribble can't pass can't cross high only low... simply shit. TFC is a club than sets the bar high and Morgan can only do the limbo under it. Not starting material on a TFC squad.
I agree that Morgan while having some decent outings; on the whole is not the right fit for a wing back. He really did look spent in the last 2 games & had trouble keeping up. He needs to move the ball quicker with more confidence & reduce back passing when there is a break on. He is slowing down the game at the wrong time. I prefer Morrow on the left side with Auro on the right at wing back.
What is going on with Bakero - he was top draft pick & MVP for College Lge. Like to see what he can do ...
I agree he’s got limitations but he’s a career TFC player and a good culture keeper for the club. I’ll always have room for him somewhere. Maybe that’s not logging as many minutes as he did recently but nonetheless...
I am still bitter about the Expansion draft and losing Edwards.
Morgan was an emergency left wing back during the CCL & had some damn fine games including in the Azteca.
So I'm pretty darn sure if he can play LWB there, that he can do it in MLS.
He might be out of form or carrying an injury but the guy did it for us in some of our biggest games this year. Good enough for me.
Morgan is a starting LB for 75% of teams in this league.
All the talent we've had the last couple years seems to have made some of us spoiled...
According to Jeff Carlise, Jozy is drawing interest from France and Italy...

Will Parchman suggesting that Jozy's agent is pushing this.
Seems likely that we're refusing to give Jozy an extension.
If so that is now two DPs that we've refused to extend this year. Interesting.
I'm not sure it's refusing to enter negotiations so much as keeping our cards close to our chest and seeing how things play out. Don't want to lock ourselves into a situation now that in 6 months is irreversibly bad.
Jozy's contract doesn't even end until the season after next. I'm not worried.
Carlisle specifically stated Jozy's agent didn't respond to requests. Means somebody is saying they are considering Jozy & this "situation" came to Carlisle's ears.
Buyer's talk is not very reliable.
More realistic

Guy likes this town. Likes big stages like it would be in France or Italy. But I doubt this happens. As we all saw this spring/summer, TFC without Jozy is a TFC lacking the glue that puts it all together. We are not getting a replacement out of free agency. Can't see the team doing that.

That's assuming a lot of things.
Until Jozy appears to be too washed or becomes unhappy living in Toronto I can't see him forcing a move or us giving him up. Neither of those things look imminent.
Have to think that if Jozy did leave we'd be in for Jerry Mbakogu as a TAM replacement (would be capable of playing the Jozy role, plus faster, less injured and more disciplined). Rumoured that we were interested in him a few years back and I'm sure with the way we operate they have kept tabs on him.

doubt it happens this season.the window in italy ends aug 17th.and france aug 31
it would be awful business to sell him now.
it would guarantee we on't make the playoffs and would have to totally rework how our team plays without him.
unlikely we'd be able to get up to a good speed by concacaf.
I don’t believe the Jozy rumors. What is I. It for TFC?
He and Gio hustled their butts off on Wednesday. Looked like players who wanted to be here and win, not ones who were distracted playing for contracts or thinking about moving.
BREAKING: Claudio Marchisio is leaving Juventus He spent 25 years and won 7 Serie A titles with the club. Not sure if he's headed to the middle east or america.
unless they did the paperwork before the 9th??
