It has been awfully quiet on the transfer market this window: hopefully something happens more than getting rid of Hasler and bringing in Bakero

Irwin is there because most team's first goalie is worse then him - and we want to win the Voyaguer's.
Until the team develops a back up as good as Irwin, I'm fine with him taking up that salary space.
Is Bakero anything more than a rumor?
I get the feeling that we only traded Hasler away to make room for Auro in the squad. Now that he's back, the FO and coaching staff may have felt that Hasler was no longer needed. At least, that's what I understood given the full/wing back selections. When all of them were fit, Hasler didn't get any minutes.
If we had a back 3, then Hasler would still have been useful as van der Wiel frequently play as the RCB. However, this is yet another sign of Vanney's preference for the compact 4-4-2 setup. I don't know if we really have the proper players for it, but I guess that's his vision.
Or maybe it was to free up the international slot which we traded to LAFC for Allocation? As there potentially is another player dropping today and we need the GAM,TAM,SPAM.
“generally” we stack up in a 3-5-2 formation, but often change shape throughout the game, at least 5 formation changes during our ATL game.
Lets not “blame Vanney” when Bez was the one whom pulled the trigger, also it’s all conjecture as we don’t know really what or why.. I am happy to see Hasler getting more minutes now, great dude!
meanwhile our jurnos are following the team from the couch again showing endoh in vancouver from a picture in instagram.lol
Endoh is eligeble for this game right? There's no roster rules regarding this tournament basically? we've played quite a few tfc2 players in it the last couple years.
24 hours or so left in the window?

^Mostly true. But Aketxe leaked.
I want that Celta Vigo CB, Funtas.

Cooper leaked from Panama. Hasler from Switzerland IIRC. Auro from the local Sao Paulo journos.
You'll hear from the other side of the transaction but Bez and co aren't saying shit to the locals anymore.

BTW the team's offical twitter account is saying we signed that guy from tigre....

TFC acquired Lucas Janson on loan Club Atlético Tigre
I asked my friend who covers Argentine football for a living about him and said that he's on par with others who've made the same jump to MLS and succeeded. So if he adjusts well the talent is certainly there.
We are banking on Moor's return to shore up the backline, clearly.
Hope this works out. Bez has had some home runs and some duds with internationals.
Platt is saying we used TAM for this signing.
huh
