Just moments of Silence.
Usually the black armband is for anyone who is directly related to the club/ownership.
When the Boston Marathon Bombing happened the Red Sox had the 'Boston Strong' Patch.
Bradley/Vanney did mention they were looking at something to wear during the game but that could be anything. (My personal vote is everyone wears the Toronto flag captains armband, with Bradley wearing the generic one as well.)

My problem is that Chivas needs not to be beaten, but to be beaten with 2 goals!
It's a humongous difference between the 2 things.
I can see us winning with 1-0 or 2-1, but anything else would be highly unprobable.
And if it's ending regulation time 2-1 for TFC, and penaties looming, we know that we suck ass at penalties...
Whether or not Chivas scores 1, we need 2. Can't see us being anything but aggressive from the get go.
Based on everything I'm reading, the team is going to go into the game with a different game plan then before. We'll see what happens. Something weird in the first 10 minutes could blow that all up.
All I know is that if there is one team in MLS who could figure out how to win this competition tonight, its TFC.
If they do, its a result for the ages.
If they don't, I'm extremely proud of how much they have fought and schemed for the badge for these last two months (Mexican & anti-Bradley/Jozy trolls will just be ignored). We are the best team MLS has ever seen - we took Tigres down - we took Club America down. That is nothing to sniff at and ignore.
No matter what the result, we will remember this run for many years.
That frozen pitch in Colorado.
The winter that never ended.
Osorio's backheel.
Alitdore's massive run.
Giovinco's free kick.
Morgan's return.
Mavinga's interventions.
Bradley's massive passing rate.
Bono's saves.
Regardless of the result tonight, nobody can take that away from us.
Those mental breakdowns that keeps coughing up goals early game needs to stop.
Altidore needs to be huge. I hope whatever bug he had last week is gone, b/c his hold up play creates so much space for attackers.
Giovinco needs to do his thing. A goal would be nice from him.
And watch for Chivas counters with pace.

I'm sick at home today. Reflecting on both the attack and the game. Chivas is playing for Pride of Club and Country and I gave them the edge. But with the attack in Toronto, I see TFC playing for Pride of Club and City, while also wanting to provide succor for its grieving citizens. I see both sides evenly matched in desire tonight, and I think back to those CCL final games where the Mexican teams would take whatever setback they experienced in the first leg and roll up the second leg for a win. It's time for TFC to turn the tables. I want TFC to do to Chivas was CA did to the Impact in 2016. I will believe right up to the final whistle. I will support them always.
Just win, baby.
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
Looks like they are showing the CCL Final second leg on one of the side screens at Maple Leaf Square along with the Raptors on the main screen and the leafs on another screen, but unfortunately can't see too many in that square tonight staying to watch the TFC game that starts more or less at the end of the other two games. I was watching the news showing people already gathering at Maple Leaf Square and saw a lot of Leaf and Raptor Jerseys even the odd Jays jerseys but no TFC jerseys in site. Kind of sad for such a big game but just goes to show that TFC is still a very niche thing here Toronto. However, sometimes niche is good actually.
Wearing the TFC jersey to the Raps game.... then nipping out later to catch an outside screen. Rooting for a 3-1 win for us tonight.
Between the TFC game, Leaf game, and Raps game, I'm a nervous wreck.
I'm proud of the boys for what they've accomplished in this tournament no matter what happens, but here's hoping for a minor miracle tonight.
TSN 2 seems, at the moment, to be streaming well at the URL below:

I know we can do it ... just not sure if we will on the day. As long as we don't get fucked by the ref, we have a good shot.

That's one interesting back line.
On my Gawd
BRADLEY IS GOING TO DO A FRINGS
Fuck
Journos saying Moor is out with a quadriceps strain suffered Monday.
We have no recognized Centre back left. Its going to take a miracle to keep them off the score sheet.
Nobody said it would be easy. Come on you Reds!!!
Well that's not the starting lineup I expected.
This line up is INSANE! I feel like there's no way we can win now, but this game is going to be crazy!
Is the list of injured now longer then the list of available experienced players for selection?
Ryan Telfer made the bench. Hell of a come up for the lad.
So... one sub burned for Vazquez. And Hasler at DM? Oh man...
