I wonder how many away fans make it to this one considering a bunch are going to Chicago the week prior.

Just picked up four tickets. Jeremie (as he always does) made it sound like tickets are almost gone. Not sure what that means overall but I assume it'll be a healthy showing in the stands from our guys. Rarely do we show up in MTL with less than 50-60 of us.
Does anyone have a sense of what the set up is at Saputo? All the matches I attended were at the Big-O either pre-Saputo or the playoff. The Big-O games always had escorts from the Metro to the stadium and a holding period and escort out of Big-O. Thankfully we've missed the brunt of the bad behaviour from Impact fans, save for a few wasted beer tosses. I'm travelling with a few road trip virgins who are nervous about stories they have heard and want to ensure they have a great time.
Just spoke to Jeremie and picked up a pair. Looking forward to seeing all of you in a few days.
Don't worry too much about Saputo and in/out away supporter experience. It's improved a ton in last few years after many convos with Impact FO and some key changes.
Plan to start your day at McLean's Pub downtown who always host us and then head to the Metro with everyone for an 'interesting' subway ride (don't rock it too hard/stay off the seats!), and then the walk around to the away supporter entrance. Mostly hassle free and some security to meet along the way.
Exiting is improved now because Impact FO have now been providing buses right outside the away gate for us to head back downtown. Nice of them and avoids most of the problems of clashing with LIMPact supporters.
We'll be in touch with Impact FO to coordinate and verify all this stuff usually the week of and will post any useful updates! Cheeers
^^^Well this seems to cover most of what I was going to ask. Just confirming McLean's Pub is still the place to go pre-match for the away support making the trip.
What time will people start showing up at the pub?
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Anyone know what transit you take to Stade Saputo? Looks like Peel Station and then the 1 on the Green Line, Peel to Viau? Anyone with experience, what time do you need to leave the pub to get to the Stade Saputo by 4pm?

Does anybody know for sure which section they put away fans in? The wife and I got our tickets through the Impact's website and are in the lower part of section 112.
I've got a spare in the away section, if anyone needs.
I'm in the lower part of 112, may try to go up a couple of rows.
Do the Row letters mean anything on the away tickets for Saputo? I have four seats in row FF, but the top row in 112 is AA...???
I've posted in the ticket trader, but if anyone has a single going in the away section for the game, let me know. Work just told me I can come in after the game after I begged and begged cuz it's gunna be a hell of a game. Cheers guys.
It's all GA once you get in man. Just ignore all letters and numbers.
I knoiw it's a longshot ... but looking for 2 tickets in away support section this weekend in Montreal .... help!!!!! (thanks in advance)
I've posted in the ticket trader section but thought I'd mention here as well. I am looking for a single in the away section if anyone has a last minute cancellation
looking for a pair for sunday (I have also posted here and in ticket trader). thx.
I spoke to Jeremie this morning and he told me the supporter section is sold out. I just got my ticket off the Impact website directly at the bottom of 112. There were a few singles left if anyone is still looking.
Some standard road warrior info for you travelling members and non-members out there.
Mostly a standard match day process: as mentioned, get your drink on early morning or afternoon at McLeans, then head from there via metro.
Notes from Impact front office (FO):
Main supporter meetup for group escort/march to stadium is at VIAU Metro stop, 3:30 PM.
So this means probably leave McLeans for metro up the street (Peel station) at 2:30 latest.
Pro-tip: Get a metro ticket/pass beforehand if you walk by a station so not to get caught in crush when we all leave
Security will be waiting to walk with to stadium, See map
Usual no large bags/camera policy as any stadium. Tho, despite that, if you have a oversized bag for some reason, you can check it for $5 apparently.
Usual stadium rules/code of conduct: No bottles, flares, smoke, sharp things
Banners, Flags allowed, 5 foot flagpoles max.
Don't stand on seats. Don't throw stuff. Be cool.
Ejections will happen.
Post-game:
Away supporters held for 30 mins, hang out in the section, go to washroom ok.
Then, unlike some other recent MTL matches, no buses back to city for this trip (too many ppl) - Security will escort the group back down the sidewalk to the metro stop. Should be ok. Watch your scarves, steer clear of blue.
Have fun, cheer loud, mock the bell, keep out of way of idiots, get TFC or IMFC FO reps/security to help if any probs.
Gringo, did you find one?
I bought my tickets back in May. I always make the trip if possible. This time I brought 7 friends with me to share the experience with. We are not with the supporters but close to the away bench.
Can wait, it's almost time to go to the pub.
McLeans is ready for all those in Montreal for the game today.
