Well rested and ready to avenge their loss against the New England Plastic Carpet Dwellers by going up against a less than impressive DC United. I say:
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
Been a while since we've seen the boys play. Quite excited for this one.
I'm pumped let's do this.
If anybody can post stream links it would be much appreciated.
Hot, summery 8pm Saturday night kickoff. I'm expecting a good, proper up for it crowd that'll give it an upbeat atmosphere.
We've all suffered through enough cold, driving rain games.
I can't understand playing Delgado over Edwards. Edwards has proven his ability to be a gamechanger down the wing and we leave him on the bench?
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
Delagdo and Edwards are playing different positions. It's Morrow over Edwards or possibly Altidore over Edwards. Delgado is preferred to Osorio and it looks like Cooper is on his way out.

Is everyone at the game? In at shoeless Joe's and it's dead...
After this half I would be very happy if this game ends with 1-0 for TFC.
But for this around the DC goal the final touch needs to be better with a class.
Otherwise we can have 2 full games, and will be still 0-0, or... worst DC will steal the win on a counter.

They need to bring Edwards on. It's the extra attacking threat we need out wide to stretch their defence. Few nervy moments out there but we've responded well for the most part.
How the f have we not scored, so many chances!
Whats with the long balls from Bradley, he needs to stop that. Let Vasquaze do the creating.
We should have a half dozen goals lol.
Good to get the necessary 3 points to start this busy stretch as next Friday could be interesting if we load up for Montreal a few days before and no Bradley now against NE either......
Bradley great in defense as usual, but has wasted 80% of his long passes forward today.
He should construct way less, and let Victor do that.
I'm very happy for Hamilton scoring again.
The kid has much quality, and he's very good with his head, specially from that area.
Seba is still off compared to the top form of himself, it's almost the middle of season, and so far he never got really going.
Are we going to see the real Seba for at least 4 games in row this year?
Mavinga - great game, he was rock solid at the back.
To get out from defense with constructive passes = very much not his strength, but we should not expect that from him, we have others to do that.
Very valuable victory...
Chicago is coming strong and furious.
The score conform to what happened on the field should have been 3-0.
But no way more than 3 goals difference between TFC and DC today.
For long stretches of the game seemed cvasi-total TFC dominance, but how many clear cut chances we had? Not that many.

This team has swagger and I love it!
Not our most sparkling performance, but a valuable three points nevertheless. I feel it was important to send Chicago a message that we won't give up the top spot without a fight. Also very pleasing to see us grind out a win that in seasons past would have resulted in dropped points. Bradley was once again making a difference with his defensive presence it's just a pity he didn't take a yellow before International duty. We could well miss his presence next Friday. I thought Mavinga was really dominant at the back tonight and probably our MOTM. Vazquez had one of his quieter nights but still showed up as our best attacking threat. If there is a downer tonight it is that Seba is still struggling to find the form we know he possesses, despite his two assists. We can only hope he plays out of this slump and hits his true form right on time for the playoffs.
...onwards and upwards
That ref was.... self absorbed.
We were all over them for most of the match. The fear of Bradley's let-down after a tough match in Mexico City never happened. He was dominant. So glad to see Hamilton make his mark. I thought we looked like a top team in this league tonight. Support was in top form too. It was loud tonight.
